Mecure have definitely updated the entrance and dining area, as well as room service, however they have limited the room amenity updates that really need looking at. Microwave, tv and ironing board all need replacing. Cleanliness and daily room clean needs to be better as well. Location wise - perfect - although walk to Westfield feels a little unsafe un the dark. Some signage wouldn't go astray either.

Excellent arrival service. Check in was the best Ive ever experienced. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone. Im definitely coming back to stay again. Room menu service was fast. Very nice gentlemen who checked me in. $1 holding fee is perfect. Not $200 or $500 like the Gold Coast hotels.

We thought that the security was not up to standard. The hallway to the room was littered with a little bits of paper. The carpet to the room was old and dated. It was not a good look on the way to our room. We had to check by putting our details on a computer. We would have preferred to be checked in by a welcoming person. The toilet button got stuck on the toilet. There were no coat hangers in our room. The room was very clean though. The coffee machine was broken in the cafe near the reception. The location was perfect for us so close to Garden City Shopping Centre.

We had a room key on the 3rd floor, and half of the 3rd floor rooms were under construction. We had a hard time because of the noise and smell of paint from early in the morning. I wonder why they weren't informed that it was under construction. If I had known, I would have canceled and booked somewhere else.

Great location and despite the building being older style you can see a fortune is being spent upgrading everything. Definitely be going back, great location, excellent friendly staff and all round great experience.

Great Service
Their service was great, I had an issue which would have made my stay uncomfortable, but they were able to fix within 5 minutes. The rest of my stay was uneventful which was great.

The hotel is comfortable enough, i stayed on and off for a month and mostly was a pleasant stay. Room was ok, desk staff are diligent and helpful. Room service menu is extremely limited and often soke items unavailable, the room cleaning was haphazard, every day different parts were cleaned other days not and bins cleaned 2 out of 3 days. I would stay here again but nased on desk staff competency.

Phone in room didn’t work and desk service was unattended most times and had to walk around to find them. Installing a buzzer on the counter is my suggestion if the service desk is going to be left unattended
