This hotel was an exercise in elegance. They were friendly and eager to please. Only issue was the coffee machine - it was filthy and leaked flakes into my cup (past guests misuse). They replaced it swiftly. Hotel is located in an area full of great dining only a short walk away. I arrived way too early, and they swiftly stored my luggage safely while I attended a seminar. Check in after Noon was efficiently processed later.

This Hotel was fantastic, staff were lovely and the room was clean. TV had streaming options so wasn’t limited to standard channels and the air conditioning was not set to 21 degrees minimum which was an amazing change from other Hotels I have stayed in. Reception is 24 hour and everyone was super friendly and helpful, luggage can also be held after you checkout so you don’t have to carry your luggage before moving on from the city. A guests only laundry room or in room washer/dryer would be great for stays longer than 1 or 2 nights. Will definitely be staying here again!

I usually like staying here, I have many tile, but this time- the meal was very ordinary, and expensive, the tv didn’t work, and the traffic seemed excessively noisy this time. The positive is the the location was close to where I needed to go, I could leave my car parked still after checkout, till my appointments were finished.

I have always stayed at Hotel Grand Chancellor Brisbane as I have VIP Access for free parking. I tried to explain this to Reception staff and they still charged me $30 for parking.

When you pay $250 a night, its a bit much to be charged another $30 p/n to park your car. We booked a more expensive room as it had a balcony only to find the balcony was tiny and completely un usable. Not even a chair would fit. The keys to our room didn't work. I had to leave my wife in the hall with our luggage and go back down to reception to get new keys. The pool with a view was very underwhelming and poorly maintained. Looks nothing like the photos. A floorboard was sticking up and I kicked my toe on it.We were told there was to be live music from 4 till 6 so decided to stay around and enjoy it before heading out to dinner only there was no music as the singer forgot his amp apparently. Not the hotels fault but just added to the whole experience and we decided to leave after an hour. Overall I expected a lot and recieved little. Disappointing stay.
