Ekka was on, and i understand the saw dust through the halls, but seeing this is yearly the staff should of upped the vacuuming services for this time... there was mould in the shower... but overall the room was tidy

The kitchen "splash back" was filthy, hand prints all over laundry doors. Mentioned to cleaners on my first morning there but nothing was done during my 4 night stay to clean it. Reception crew were great and promised me that they would get the word through when I mentioned it on my departure.

We were unable to access the apartments wifi for television use. The dryer was terribly loud, so we chose not to use it. The shower recesses had mould in them and room generally smelt of cigarette smoke. There were no extra blankets for comfort if we needed them. However, the kitchenette was clean and tidy and the hot water in the showers was great.

Very slightly run down, but clean, with comfortable bed and fresh linen. Not much around, but a short stroll to Bowen Hills train station, then one stop to Fortitude Valley or three stops to Central. Great views over the city from the balcony. Would definately stay again

We booked 3 seperate apartments (on 2 booking items) 2x studios then a seperate booking for an 2 bedroom apartment and upon check in we’re only told there was only 2 apartments on the booking (1 studio and the 2 bedroom apartment). There were broken items in the room (broken couch) missing remote for the tv and the check in was not a good experience at all. My friend had to sleep on the futon that was rock hard and no bedding provided) The Code Apartments refused us a refund on the 3rd room that we couldn’t even access but we had paid for in full. Horrible experience and manager refused to complete a refund apparently it was in a different name but they allowed me to check into the other two rooms but not the 3rd rooms that were on seperate bookings but not the second studio!

Replace the couch.
The apartment was well fitted out, clean and value for money. The two seater couch was very old and the springs were broken so two people could not comfortably sit on it. It was the only disappointment we experienced in our stay. We live in regional Queensland and had to come to Brisbane to visit the RBWH which is a 5 minute drive from the apartment. We would definitely stay again and recommend to family and friends, just replace the couch please.

I liked that there was a good coffee shop nearby. The issues had were that the couch needs replacing as the springs pushing through made it uncomfortable to sit on it. There were no cushions, pillows or blankets in the property . I went out to purchase some to make my stay more pleasant. Mould in shower, taps all loose, tv was very tinny in sound.
