Hidden away cosy cottage
Lovely friendly, attentive hosts. Clean and comfortable. Super, comfy bed, pillows and duvets. Lots of extra bedding and pillows if required. Nice little touches, such as boiled sweets and fresh flowers in room. Huge breakfast, with cereals, toast and full English. Great location for RSPB (20 min walk) and visiting the Flamborough coastline. Saw loads of birds at Bempton and watched seals playing in shallows and basking on sand at Flamborough Head. Car parking is very cramped space, so after a 100 point turn around we were told where to park more easily. Would be better to be asked daily what we wanted for breakfast. Wi-fi didn't seem to work in the cottage, however it had said on Internet site that it was only available in public areas. An information sheet in the cottage would be good, covering such things as parking, breakfast arrangements, check out times, emergency info, how to get the hot water, tricky TV/DVD/Sky controls, local restaurant/take away details etc. Would definitely return!

Excellent Base
The weather was unusually poor for the time of year during the four days we were there but Martin's superb breakfast and large coffee pot set us up fine. Perfect location for visiting the surrounding area and evening meals in the White Horse next door were superb.

Lovely little cottage for two people. Host was great and gave us lots of tips for places to go. Breakfast was good with plenty to eat.
