Stunning 100-year-old Converted Coach House

A very warm welcome to our beautiful cottage, a much-loved property in the village of Great Warley close to the town of Brentwood. Boasting 2 bedrooms, plenty of space for socializing plus flexible accommodation, this cottage makes the perfect holiday home for a group or special family holiday. Everything about this property has been well thought through to create a relaxed and luxurious feeling.

As a self-catering cottage, you'll find everything you need for a perfect stay.
The kitchen has a fridge, a hob, an oven, a toaster, a kettle, a dishwasher, a freezer and a microwave.
The cottage is a perfect place to relax and offers a television, internet access and a music player.


This cottage has 2 bedrooms and can comfortably sleep 4.
In the first bedroom, you will find a double bed.
The second bedroom contains a double bed.


There is one bathroom, which has a toilet and sink and a walk-in shower.

für englische Verhältnisse ganz ok
Für englische Verhältnisse war die Unterkunft nicht schlecht. Innen war alles relativ neu, aber für 4 Personen ist die Einrichtung nicht gut durchdacht. Es gibt keinen Esstisch, nur eine Bar mit Barhockern. Ein Pooltisch mit Platte könnte auch als Tisch genutzt werden, aber dran sitzen geht eigentlich gar nicht. Die Sofas im Wohnbereich sind etwas für Zwerge, aber zum chillen und liegen nicht geeignet. Im Obergeschoss gibt es ein großes und kleineres Schlafzimmer mit jeweils 2 Betten. Für 4 Personen zu wenig. Meine Kinder mit 12 und 16 Jahren schlafen nicht mehr zusammen in einem 1,40m breiten Bett. Im Oberschosse gibt es außerdem ein kleines Bad mit Dusche. Allerdings ist das Waschbecken nicht zu gebrauchen. Es wurde direkt unter die Dachschräge montiert, und hatte eine Größe von einem kleinen Kochtopf. Gesicht waschen, oder gar Rasieren ist ausgeschlossen. Im Außenbereich gibt es einen Pool, welcher mit einem Nachbarhaus geteilt werden muss. Das Nachbarhaus hatte Gartenmöbel, wir hatte Poolmöbel, welche durch die Nachbarn auch gleich mit geteilt wurden. Es gab keine Auflagen oder Kissen, sodass man ohnehin nicht drauf sitzen oder liegen konnte. Der Pool ist von 10 bis 18 Uhr freigegeben zur Benutzung. Die Nachbarn taten es noch lautstark bis weit nach 20 Uhr... Wir nutzten die Unterkunft als Sprungbrett nach London und nähere Umgebung wie Camebridge usw. Ganz in der Nähe (Upminster) beginnt das öffentlich Nahverkehrsnetz von London.
