I still can't believe I'm taking the time to write this review, especially the kind of review I must leave, but I don't want anyone else to experience what I went through, hence the reason I'm writing this review.
On the weekend from April 26 to the 28th, I rented a small house in the Bremerton, WA area. What I'm about to tell you may seem like something out of a horror movie, and it's by far the worst experience I've ever had.
I rented this property because it was the closest thing to Seattle, which was our destination for this short trip, and because the house is pet-friendly, and I have two Yorkie dogs which I take with me whenever I can. On the way to the house, I noticed in the reservation details that only one pet was allowed, which concerned me, so I contacted Janelle, the owner of the house, and let her know that I had two dogs and was worried because the house specifications said only one dog. She told me it was okay and that it would just be an extra 50 dollars. I agreed to her terms.
We arrived at the house at night, and I didn't get a chance to properly assess the neighborhood. To enter the house, there are three wooden steps, one of which I noticed was broken in half. I almost fell, but I was so tired and at the same time so excited to spend the weekend with my kids that I didn't think to contact Vrbo and report this detail, a mistake I learned the hard way, and I'll explain why shortly.
