Surrounded by several nature hiking and biking trails, this charming, sun-soaked holiday villa is perfect for those looking for a quiet getaway close to nature. The villa offers access to a large and lush intimate but shared garden with sun loungers, as well as open-air dining to just kick back and relax with loved ones amidst stunning nature sceneries. Inside, the villa features 3 bedrooms, 2 living rooms and a well-equipped kitchen for a totally hassle-free. One of the living rooms also features a fireplace for an ambient evening with wine and good conversations. Guests will find everything needed for a carefree stay; a Moka coffee machine, an induction hob, a microwave, and a dishwasher, among other utilities.

The bedrooms on the upper floor of the villa have beautiful high ceilings with frescoes. 2 bedrooms have a double bed and 2 bedrooms have twin beds each.

Attention:
On the ground floor there is a small studio that sometimes might be occupied by private guests of the owner, max 2 guests. These guests will have the same entrance and use the corridor on the ground floor to go to the bathroom. They also might use the garden. The owner is living next door, same main entrance, and using the terrace next to the client one.

The owner lives in a part of the Villa, has the same main entrance and has a terrace outside, next the one of the guest. She would love to welcome the guests when she is there.

Location

The holiday villa enjoys a strategic location in Mendrisio, from where guests can access the beautiful Lake Lugano as well as the magnificent Lake Como in less than 30 minutes! Mendrisio is an excellent choice for those who want to enjoy hiking and biking around Monte Generoso, leading to succulent and sunny Ticenese vineyards.

The Lugano Centre, with Parco Ciani and the iconic Piazza della Riforma with a host of terraces, boutique and shops is half an hour away. There are also many beautiful parks across the Lugano area, with stunning panoramic views like Parco San Michele (20 minutes walk) and Parco San Grato (20 minutes drive). For excursions, guests can head to Montagnola and visit the Hermann Hesse Museum if they are literature lovers. Next up, places that are a must-visit are the prettiest village in Switzerland, Morcote, and the SwissMiniatur, both located about half an hour from here. For day trips, guests can head to the crystal-clear Verzasca Valley, which is just an hour away.

The nearest international airport Milan Malpensa is approximately a 50-minute drive. A restaurant and a grocery store are within walking distance.
