Overnight Manager and Check In Process was Awful
This was my husbands experience checking in. We arrived at 11:45pm on Friday night, much later than we’d hoped, due to traffic from the snows. When we arrived at the front desk, there was another family that had just pulled in as well. No one was manning the front desk. A placard was on the desk that said to call this number if no one was there. I and the other person waiting to get checked in called that number. When we called, we were told by the person who answered that we had to hang up and call another number. We did so, and when we did the phones behind the front desk at Vacasa started ringing, and of course no one was behind the desk to answer that number. When we called back to the first number, no one would pick up. After about 15 minutes of waiting around and trying to figure out what to do next, we heard someone snoring in the back room behind the front desk. I and the other person went through the gate to see if we could get some help and we found this person asleep in a chair in the back room. Later I learned his name was John. John was completely out of it, and it was not just grogginess from sleep. His eyes were glassy and his speech was completely slurred. I asked him if he could help us and the first thing he said to me was, “Check-in is after 4pm and check-out is 10am.” I asked him if he was OK because he was not behaving normally. It didn’t appear he was going to do anything for us, but upon pleading he finally got up. He went looking around for our reservations. He asked us our last names, probably about six times each. It was almost comical, and the other person waiting to check in exchanged glances with me, raising his eyebrows and shaking his head. The other person eventually produced a confirmed number and John was able to check him in. I then gave John my confirmation number. He said he couldn’t find it and that I would have to call the number on the placard. I tried explaining to him that I had done that, and so had the other fellow, and they simply give us another number to call and it rings at this front desk. As much as I tried to explain this, John kept telling me to call the number. He simply didn’t want to help anymore, he was confused, tired, and completely out of sorts. Eventually he found our packet. He apologized for the inconvenience claiming it was left the wrong place. Altogether from beginning to end this took 45 minutes, and we were checked in at 12:30am.

Location Location Location
We stayed here with friends of ours. We were (2) adults and (2) teenage girls and (2) adults. The space was perfect, and the location was great. The unit was very well appointed with everything you could need. Know that there is no A/C, which was not really a big deal, bc we left the windows open, but on some summer afternoons might be a tad warm. The condo does not have the usual spices etc., that some VRBO spots leave behind, but not a biggie. The location is great as it is at the start of Main and close to everything.

Cozy place in Breck
We had a great time. The property worked perfectly for our needs. There was ample room for our party of 5. It did get a little toasty with no air conditioning. There are ceiling fans and opening the windows helps a lot. (We’re wimpy city slickers so it may not be an issue for most). We appreciated the on-site parking. The front desk folks were very helpful.

Good location, easy access
Overall good stay. Only downsides were the poor lighting in most rooms and in the master the posturepedic mattress was broken and basically felt like sleeping on the ground. Otherwise very clean and close to both skiing and downtown.

Really great condo!
We were here in early June 2020, and they had just opened some of the properties and local spots due to the COVID-19 pandemic; some stores and restaurants were still closed, and many 'attractions' were closed too. The condo (run like a hotel) was a bit understaffed at the front desk so we had to wait for someone to come from the back to help us (nobody was in the lobby at all). They told us upfront that there was no daily cleaning service and only emergency repairs would be performed while we were there, if needed. Also, the pool and hot tubs (along with all other common areas) were closed - this was the worst part for us because we wanted to hang out at the pool during the day. Very situational, and somewhat understandable (to me). Positives: 1 - Master bedroom had an adjustable mattress - wife loved getting a soft side and mine was firm. 2 - Kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, utensils, etc. 3 - Kitchen appliances were regular-sized and nice. 4 - Kitchen/dining/living room was very attractive and comfortable. 5 - Plush terry robes provided in master! 6 - Underground parking (but it looked like Marriott and Hyatt had more spots than the "Water House" condos). 7 - Great location - easy walking to anywhere within town!!! 8 - Pool/tubs looked nice, even though we couldn't use them. 9 - humidifiers in every bedroom! 10 - washer/dryer - not full size but bigger than most closet units. 11 - Everything was VERY clean. 12 - Top floor (4th) so high ceilings. 13 - Rooms had more than adequate space - master was large with a good size walk-in closet and hangers - plenty of space in the dresser and side tables for wife and I both. 14 - Master and 2nd BR both had bath-tubs and showers. Negatives: 1 - Key cards were needed everywhere, even to get to the first floor. 2 - The unit was not ideally located in the building; not on the courtyard/stream, and not facing the slopes. 3 - Street noise from the highway was too loud (we had windows open to enjoy the crisp mountain air). 4 - We wished they would leave prior guests' condiments/spices/trash-bags/etc. - we had to buy everything - some condos leave those in place for the next guests but they obviously clean it out between every guest. They daid have starter coffee and dish soap. 5 - Fireplace wouldn't turn on, then after telling the front desk about it and returning later (we didn't expect them to fix it because it wasn't an 'emergency'), they had 'repaired' it and then it wouldn't turn off.

Poorly Kept Up and non responsive to maintenance issues
I would not recommend this property. Upon check in all the blinds in the master bedroom did not work. They would not open or adjust to allow light in. I called the front desk and someone came up and said they don't have time to fix it today but would do it the next day. I spoke to the property manager the next day and told her they were not fixed and that I also discovered, 1/2 the electrical plugs do not work in the master causing me to have to chose to have the light on or the sleep number bed inflate. I also found dirty tissues behind the bed. The property manager did not fix any of these issues. I could not access the balcony in the master during our entire 4 day stay because I could not open the blinds the entire time and the room was extremely dark because I could only have 1 bedside lamp plugged in so that the bed would not stay inflated. Having used kleenexes behind your bed is disgusting! Poorly maintained and horrible customer service!
