Nonsmoking room smelt like smoke.
The room I was given first was supposed to be a nonsmoking room, but when I walked in it smelled of smoke. I called the front desk immediately and they found me another room.

VERY hot in the building, even our own hotel room we couldn’t get it to cool down, window open and bought a fan. the pool and hot tub aren’t working and wasn’t made aware until after i paid already. woke up with bites all over my body (couldn’t find any bugs but still uncomfortable).

It was incredible warm in the hotel , stairwell, hallways and room . Our window was wide open so we could breathe . We called the front desk early evening nothing was done . Would not stay there again . They did nothing except sorry . I’m really getting tired of people saying sorry without backing it up with action

Disappointed the pool wasn’t opened and would have like to been told that before paging $40 for a late check out. I also don’t like how I did the check in on my phone but then still had to do it when I got here.

We walked in and a lady complained of bed bugs in her room. Even brought one in a cup to show the front desk. We didn't even check in but left. They refused to refund even though we just booked a hour before and didn't want to stay because of a chance that our room would have bed bugs.

As soon as we entered our room, my husband’s allergies went crazy. The carpets were likely the culprit as they didn’t look overly clean. The fact that pets are allowed could have also been the issue.

disappointing stay
I booked into the Travelodge as my cousin was travelling in from BC for a funeral. The reason we booked there was because of the pool for her son who was 10 years old. We received a text message the morning of our check-in to advise that the pool was under maintenance and not open...this was very disappointing and too late to cancel - which we would have done. We asked the staff to recommend a lounge in the area in which they could not. The common hallway carpets on the 2nd floor were stained and gave an overall dirty impression. The bed was comfortable enough but overall a disappointment.
