The hotel didn't check us in properly and I received a £100 parking charge, took a couple of phone calls and emails to sort out but shouldn't have happened. Not even an apology, won't be staying there again.

Stayed in this hotel in the summer and it was very average. Needs upgrade in every room . Carpets are dirty and stained . Clean bed and toilet . Room and curtains need money spent on it . During the snow room was freezing . Blown air heating which kept cutting off every 20 mins . Was waking up with cold feet . Had to keep getting up to turn the heating on.

Carpet had stains on it the chair had stains on it not enough tea and one of the cup had a crack in it. Air con no instruction how to use it and half of the buttons were broken on it. The tv remote was dirty.

We stayed here due to convenience, frustratingly the cleanliness was not good. I ended up taking my own antibacterial wipes to clean surfaces & handles. There were some red and brown stains on the walls in the toilet and no hand towel provided. Reception smells like a toilet - otherwise fine

Very good, clean room and bathroom. Good shower
Thank you to the cleaners for preparing our room- it was spotless and very welcoming and much appreciated. There was plenty of room. The separate toilet was much better than being in the shower room as often is in these types of hotels. We parked in the hotel car park. The guy on reception wasn’t particularly welcoming but check in went ok.
