Wonderful Winter Getaway
This VRBO was exactly what I wanted for my family's early Christmas gathering. We loved the location, easy to get to, peaceful and quiet. The outdoor hot tub gave us an extra space to connect and relax. We loved the wood stove, although the temperature was challenging to moderate. The upstairs bedrooms became too warm necessitating the need to open the windows in order to sleep comfortably. That was fine with us as we love fresh air. Liz was an excellent host, swift with communicating and providing extra attention to detail. We have lovely memories of our time in Bozeman!

This was my fifth stay in this cabin. I love how it is situated in the woods in the mountains but close enough to Bozeman for restaurants and groceries. We use it as our base camp for Yellowstone.

Had a great time. Only issues we had were there were a few mice that got into some of our food. There was also something bigger scratching/crawling around inside the walls upstairs. Overall we had a great time.

Thoroughly Enjoyed Our Stay!
My extended family traveled from all over the U.S. to gather in Bozeman to remember my father (who grew up nearby) and reconnect with one another. My part of the group consisted of my spouse and I, one adult daughter, one teen, and a 10 year old. All of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Bear Creek Log Cabin. A couple of cousins dropped by, and my kids and the cousins especially enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, and grilling, and visiting the creek. The area is quiet and relatively secluded, and definitely has the mountain "vibe" while also being super-convenient to Bozeman. Despite the bear theme, we didn't see any bear, but we did see a fox, a wild turkey hen, numerous deer, birds and other wildlife. Communication with the hosts was excellent, the place was clean and well taken care of, and although we noticed the slightly slanted foundation that was referenced in the description, it was no problem for us at all, and all around we just had an amazing time. Would most definitely stay here again.

Great weekend trip. Arrived Friday and left Tuesday morning. Property was clean and inviting. Had all the home amenities I was expecting. You can tell that owners go to great effort to make the place a great stay. 30 minutes from Bridger Bowl Ski Resort. My kids loved the hot tub. Will likely book again.

Wonderful in every way!
Our family booked this property over the Christmas 2022 holiday, but our arrival was delayed due to wide-spread flight cancelations in the midst of the winter blizzard. When we finally arrived after having slept overnight at Chicago O'Hare Airport, I can't tell you how wonderful it was to walk into this cozy log cabin to fresh baked cookies on the table and the inviting warmth of a log burning stove. The cabin was everything we'd hoped for and more, we enjoyed every moment, from sledding down the hill out back to relaxing in the hot tub, and watching Christmas movies together. We had visits from the local wildlife, who seemed as much at home there as we felt. Although we never saw our hosts, they were very responsive and always made sure that we had everything we needed. At one point, we found a single sled outside and began taking turns sledding down the hill. Not more than a few hours later, a car quietly pulled up and a young man jumped out to deliver two more sleds by the door. It was the nicest thing, they didn't wish to intrude on our vacation, they simply saw an opportunity to enhance it and took action. It was all the little touches like that, coupled with the beauty of the location and the obvious love the hosts have for this property that made it truly wonderful in every way. Well Done!

Cozy winter getaway
Cabin and hosts are top notch; We visited in the winter with a storm, 4x4 highly recommended to access the cabin in the winter. Adult family of 5 ages 50-18 all piled in the hot tub, played games with ample firewood & boy scout juice provided (Brian came over and showed us the ins and outs of the wood burning stove). Great location for day trips to Bear Canyon and Hyalite Canyon and dinners in Bozeman just a few minutes away. Clean and quaint, tasteful Christmas decorations; looking forward to coming back in the summer and cooking some ribeyes on the outdoor fire pit

Bear Canyon Cabin
This place is one of the best VRBO stays we have had yet. The cabin is located away from town just far enough for peace and quiet yet close enough to access all the local amenities. The cabin itself is rustic and beautiful. Using the wood stove as the main heating, opposed to the baseboards, reminded me of my childhood. Definitely will have this property on the short list when we visit the Bozeman area in the future. Thanks for an amazing stay.

Visiting Bozeman stay here!!
We were in town touring Montana State University with my daughter. We were looking for something other than a hotel and we found this gem. It is an awesome older log cabin, the slightly crooked floors gave the property true character and we loved it. The outdoor hot tub was awesome in the mountain snow at night. It was an easy 15 min drive to downtown Bozeman. I would recommend an SUV in winter months as we had 6-8 inches of snow one night. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation.
