Property is fine. The only reason I booked there is for a hottub and it’s out of order. Been out of order for some time too. Should be made aware on your booking site.

The staff were respectful, helpful in answering my questions about the area, and genuinely friendly. We got what we paid for in terms of room quality: we didn't pay a lot, and were expecting a noisier experience considering the budget. Everything was clean. It was surprisingly quiet for what we paid. Only negatives were the loose tiles on the bathroom floor and the peeling caulking in the shower - not that much of a surprise considering the age of the building and the small amount of money we paid - and the total absence of shampoo/conditioner. If you are on a budget, this is a good place to stay.

This was expensive for a Motel 6 chain, maybe only because it was arrival weekend at MSU college and it was known that accommodations would be in high demand. Still, I thought the hotel had over sold itself in what it offered for the price. Had I had not paid a premium price, I might have been ok with the understanding that you get what you pay for. I didn't feel I got what I paid for. Run down, not clean and an odd smell all around the hotel and my room.

10 day stay room was cleaned only twice. Door cards had to be replaced 4 times kept on locking me out and my room and it was the farthest from the front desk. Front desk clerk was not there every time my card stopped working.

My whole crew got bed bugs and then they were kicked out for complaining. To follow up the manager Chris texted me saying they could no longer stay rather than taking responsibility and making an actual phone call.

I liked the price, but the area was sketchy. My room had a weird terrible smell that came from the heater/air conditioner. It smelled like animal urine mixed with a dairy farm, it was not pleasant. I bought Febreze to cover the smell, but it didn’t work. The halls smelled like mold. Someone in one of the rooms had a dog that barked a lot. The area that I stayed in was very noisy as well. If I wasn’t desperate for an affordable place to stay for the week, I would have chosen somewhere else.

Overall A Good Place to Stay
The front deak wmployeea were very nice. They were very accommodating for us and our dogs. The room was not fancy but, but it was reasonably comfortable and clean. It would have been nice ro have the higher toilets and handicap rails in the bathrooms.
