Secluded Country Cottage - Idlewild Bridgetown

We have a farm style cottage that is now available to book.
Whether you want to sit by the warmth and glow of the fire, cook an amazing meal using the wood stove (please let us know if you would like to experience a slow cooked lamb shank dinner cooked in the wood oven), relax on the veranda, or walk along the country lane to the nearby river, you’ll feel relaxed and recharged in the homely comforts of our cottage.
When you wake up you can take in the stunning rural outlook and have a cuppa on the spacious deck or through the huge windows by the warmth of the fire in the cooler months or the air conditioning in the warmer months.
Included in your stay are generous breakfast supplies which last most people their entire stay, - homemade granola, fresh homemade bread, milk, butter, conserves, farm eggs, bacon & a generous supply of Nespresso coffee pods and teas. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements.

The Cottage
Fantastic cottage so beautiful. The Cottage location was stunning such a wonderful view from that back deck, and those windows framed it all perfectly. The cottage had everything you need, was spotless. Highly recommend a stay here.

A Cozy Stay!
We thoroughly enjoyed our few days away, which was so relaxing in this idyllic cottage for two in a lovely peaceful rural location, albeit being of close proximity to Bridgetown. The view is beautiful and waking up with nature all around, sheep and lambs was delightful. Willow Cottage itself is clean, modern, with excellent amenities, including double-glazing and notably the underfloor heating in the bathroom! There is privacy and it’s a perfect size for coziness, especially when the wood fire is burning! Gill and James are very welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was wonderful. We will definitely be back :)

Beautiful
We didn’t want to leave and are coming back soon. Woke up the first day having a coffee in front of the fire looking out onto a fog covered pond. Sheep coming out of the fog up the valley to feed. Was a beautiful and tranquil experience. Breakfast supplied was delicious the fresh bread was so soft. Bed super comfortable and the heated floors in the bathrooms were a delightful surprise. Loved everything about the cottage its the perfect getaway for couples
