My husband arrived late in the evening approximately 12 am. with a reservation I had made through Expedia. He had my credit card with him. Front desk staff needed to call me and get my approval vis FaceTime. I was asked to show them my proof of identity to give him the keys to the room ( I was not with him in this trip). They had the reservation number. I assume this is protocol however we experienced them as disrespectful and extremely rude. They questioned my husband as to why he did not have his credit card which is absolutely irrelevant to the stay or to check in when a room is pre paid. The credit card was simply to show the card the reservation was booked with and for the incidental deposit. We have dine this when travelling and never had an issue. The treatment with suspicion and disrespectful tone was unbecoming of a Hilton property. We will not book with Hilton again anywhere.
