It's a 3-5 minute walk to the #35, 36, or 52 buses to Forest Hills MBTA subway Orange Line station or Newton and Watertown. Or take a 15 minute walk to the West Roxbury commuter train station, on the Purple Line, for a 20 minute ride to Back Bay Station in downtown Boston, or 25 minute ride to South Station Amtrak, or transfer to Boston Logan Airport. It's a 10 minute walk to the VA Medical Center W Rox Campus, a 15 minute drive to Boston College, a 20 minute ride to the Boston Longwood Medical area, or Fenway Park. Spend the day downtown, then retreat to the residential quiet at night. Our neighborhood abuts Roslindale, and Jamaica Plain, and the towns of Newton, Chestnut Hill, Brookline, and Dedham.
