Very cool and modern hotel. Everything is controllable by an Ipad. The rooms were small but laid out very efficiently. It would be difficult to fit 2 people if need be. The shower was not super intuitive but was able to figure out. The hotel is near the subway which is convenient. The common area was cool and visually appealing. The breakfast was expensive though. The check-in and check-out was easy and fast. You make your own keycards. Only gripe is that it was expensive per night but I think that is what is expected for Boston.

Great stay in downtown Boston
Great location back bay of Boston. New, clean, great staff, easy, fast check in, great room tech. Small room , but clean and comfortable.

Comfy bed but small overpriced rooms
If you are a solo traveller looking for a comfy bed then this hotel is totally ok. The bed is comfy, nice pillows etc. However, if you are travelling as a couple this may not be the place for you. The rooms are small, literally the width of the length of the bed, with the bed length ways at the far end of the room. Anyone wanting to get out of bed from the far side would have to climb over their companion. There is almost no storage. The communal area is nice. Breakfast is ok but they run out of things if you're there after about 7.15. Staff were slow and whilst not unpleasant, didnt really seem to want to be there. For what you get, this hotel is very expensive. I would probably choose somewhere else next time.

Superbly located in Boston Back Bay with beautiful art, comfortably beds and bedding and excellent breakfast. No service. Minimalist to the degree that there is no place to put clothes or toiletries or to hang wet towels - example there was no table for my CPAP. could. Not figure out target market. Very Expensive and no service except food.

This was the first time staying at a CitizenM and I could not have been happier with the experience. The hotel felt very safe and so aesthetically pleasing. The lobby had many seating options, a bar, and offered many amenities. The location was perfect for walking around and right across the street from the train. It was very clean and the room’s blackout blinds were such a great addition. Even the scents throughout the hotel made me feel so welcomed. The city view was amazing.

Staff was rude, rooms had no amenities (coffee machine) rooms were ok, but extra charge for breakfast when hotel room cost 400$ is absolute joke! Staff at the restaurant was super rude!
