We booked and paid for this hotel and upon arrival discovered that it is actually closed. We had to find an alternate accommodation, the staff of Expedia were very efficient and refunded us the stay though

Quiet Beachfront Oasis
This was an amazing relaxing location. The room was exactly as pictured and as clean as you expect a room right on the beach would be. We loved that this was a small resort with very few visitors on the other side of the island. It was quiet and relaxing with great views of the windersurfers. Since we didn't actually want to layout in the sand or go in the water, our beachfront room was perfect. We got the views without having to be out in the sun and getting sand everywhere. The only downside of this resort was the food options. They had very limited options for food and you had to walk to the restaurant to order room service. We really wanted to just stay in our room the whole time but had to ride to other stations to get good food. The service was also very good. I especially liked the front desk person and the people handling the gates/housekeeping.

family room is nice, quiet, roomy and very clean with a direct access to pool and the beach. The beach however is not good for swimming but perfect for kitesurfing. Very steady and constant wind. Wifi in hotel and rooms not working, only the one at the tiny reception. Breakfast a la carte is good.

Not for everyone
You'll love this hotel if you are looking for a relaxing experience away from the D'Mall area. If you are looking for the bustle of the main tourist area, this is not the place for you. I personally enjoyed the stay. The best part to me was you have the beach to yourself without the crowds you'll find at Station 2. We quickly figured out that the best thing to do is to enjoy the beach in the mornings, spend the afternoon and evening in the entertainment district, and come back to the Reiseling for a peaceful night's sleep. Getting around is easy as the hotel provides a complementary shuttle service every two hours starting at noon until 6 pm. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Since this is a small operation, the staff knew who you were and went out of their way to take care of you.

It was a nice place to stay,
other than a few bug bites sitting on the porch it was a good stay.the only thing i was disappointed with was the view.suppose to be a beach view but it was the only room in the compound that overlooking the back of another building

Disappointing & not what we paid for
We booked an ocean view rooms but in fact we were put it a room that had a view of the roof next door & not a lot else.The wifi was terrible in the room,meaning we had to go downstairs to the reception to use wifi.Such a shame because this stay was a present from our parents for Christmas but we were very disappointed.The room itself was comfortable but we feel not worth the money that we paid.

We enjoyed our stay. The restaurant staff were particularly good and we had lovely breakfasts overlooking the magnificent beach every morning. The room was very good with just a few little niggles - the safe didn't work, the wifi sometimes fell off at night and wasn't reset till morning. The hotel shuttle was not working so the staff would order a tricycle at the scheduled shuttle time. However, on two ocassions they had not prepaid and we were left to pay the driver. There was no return ride. It's a lovely walk along the beach to get to DMall but if it is raining or dark you do need a shuttle. We would stay at this hotel again.

Boracay Disappointment; Hotel average at best...
Hotel is average at best and a little over priced for similar hotels away from the main Boracay tourist spots. Got the free breakfast one (1) morning of my 3 day stay; food was cold and overlooked but coffee was good. WiFi was horrible and area around outside of room (so I could get my 3G connection) mosiquito infested. Overall, disappointing; room looks much better in the picture and I paid for more than expected or received.

Great resort away from the overcrowded sea of tour
VERY clean. Never in my life have I felt comfortable walking barefoot on a hotel floor till this trip! Fely was very helpful and made the trip exceed expectations.

Right on a very quiet beach spot, 20 mins walk from main bar/restaurant area. The hotel was just a little run down, needs a bit of care and attention and could be great. Few too many stray dogs running around for my liking

Nice quiet place
Rieseling resort is not as convenient as other hotels that are close to the white beach but it is quiet and relaxing . The staff were very friendly. It was my first time to boracay,and I enjoyed my stay there.

Ok but misleading information
In short I wouldn't recommend for families with small kids. While the hotel is ok compare to others in the area, it is pricey for what it provides and expectation based on hotel description/review were off. The family room is the only one without patio furniture! not the best if you want to watch for your small kids outside, pool would require a full cleaning, the free bottle of water is only for the first day, the shuttle service is not available on sunday, and some other days the driver was not available, it also starts late and finish early, while it's only a 10min walk to station 2, you could expect a better service, it's all about expectation. Breakfast is ok, stay away from continental one. construction year says 2013 but it looks older outside and would require some upgrade to look nice. Rooms are in the other hand nicely setup. bar/lounges closes at 4pm ... all those are not a deal breaker but are little things that make the difference. I wouldn't let anyone swim in the water on that side of the island, water is stagnating and hundreds of mosquitos were flying there, like a dirty river with the stagnating smell and mud feeling when going in, not the hotel fault but can help someone pick the other side of the island for that reason. In the end I would say that's an hotel to 'stop by' and not stay for a long/quiet vacation but then the price needs to go down

Not gorgeous, but it's best to have relaxation.
The hotel facilities were very simple, but it was enough for us to enjoy simple life. I like this kind of simple room since I don' t like many decorated room.The staff is very kind & action very quick. When I needed currency peso, the staff went to D-mall to exchange from Japanese yen to peso. The beach in front of the hotel seems not private beach, but peoples are very little. If I can have a request for hotel staff, please clean up the beach gradually(it's OK every day little bit & little bit).

Quite hotel with stunning views and frindly staff.
Staff could not be more helpful & location was excellent. Breakfast was adequate but little choice and if there for to long, would soon get fed up with the same choice every day. Very few actual facilities within the hotel so if you need anything it would have to be purchased from D'Mall in advance. Free shuttle bus runs every two hours finishing at 9pm but no issue outside this period as the staff will call you a ride or you can pick one up from outside the D'Mall. Price was always 100 Pesos but can be more if you venture further afield. Has the potential of being a top resort/hotel rather than just somewhere nice to stay but would need a center point like a Bar near the pool open 9am to at least midnight rather than what's there now tucked out of site as an after thought to the restaurant. Could be a real focal point with a decent barman providing cocktails and a much larger selections of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages with bar stools all around where guests could meet and socialize. Early days as a relatively new resort with only 10 rooms but massive potential and would recommend.
