The mountains are calling and we have the place for you. Come and enjoy this beautiful remodeled home high up in the Ashe Lake Community of West Jefferson, NC. The warm, cozy interior is only one of the special amenities offered at "View and Far Between". Enjoy the hot tub with the view all year round our our large deck and outdoor area for all of your family or friends to enjoy! Our 3 bedroom home features 2 king sized beds and 1 queen size bed to comfortably sleep 6. Two full baths with stand-up showers are featured as well. We have a well- stocked kitchen and dining room that is waiting for you to enjoy family meals. The large living area is perfect for movies and game nights. The home has 2 gas fireplaces for your enjoyment. Upstairs you'll find the master bedroom and full bath, with walk-in shower, along with the kitchen, large living, and dining area. Just down the iron spiral stairs are the other 2 bedrooms and full bath. If you enjoy the outdoors, get ready to relax on our huge upstairs porch area complete with outside living room including a tv and hot tub area with breathtaking views. On the ground level, we also have another covered outdoor seating area with a swing and a grassy spot perfect for a game of darts or corn-hole. The entire 3/4 acre yard is fenced. We have an outdoor fire pit complete with plenty of bench seating and firewood provided. This home is nestled in the beautiful Ashe Lake Community just minutes outside of West Jefferson. Enjoy great shopping in town along with many dining options and a brewery, a drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway, hiking any of the numerous nearby trails, or simply relaxing in the hot tub. It is all waiting for you at "View and Far Between".
During your stay at this cabin, you'll be within walking distance of Ashe Lake. A spa tub is available. Free WiFi and a kitchen are available in the cabin.

Breathtaking views
Me and my husband celebrated our wedding anniversary weekend at this beautiful home. The views were immaculate, the home was perfect and clean. Super pleased with home and we will be coming back to stay again in the future. Communication with the property owner was outstanding and they delivered the best customer service. 3 days of relaxing. We had many leaves to clean up before by we could use the patio but I guess with autumn coming and previous hurricane weather this could be expected. Outdoor table was deteriorated.

Fantastic Getaway
The property was in great shape and perfect for rest and relaxation in the mountains. The kitchen was very nicely stocked and a great gas grill on the deck which made fixing meals easy. The owner/property manager was very responsive and easy to deal with. Overall a great experience.

This cabin was absolutely perfect for what we needed. We stay in West Jefferson a couple times a year and will try to stay in this one from here on out. Location to downtown West Jefferson and boone were great. Cabin was clean and fully stocked. Absolutely zero complaints.

Finding this place was the only downside. We really tried to make it before dark but just couldn’t do it so it was a big pain. Apple Maps doesn’t even show this address. Google maps shows it but doesn’t tell you the right streets to turn on. The upstairs is beautiful. The downstairs kind of mediocre for adults to be staying down there. And also they said it was freezing cold. maybe the heater in the laundry room is not enough. however, they did enjoy the hot tub and the fire pit. and it was a beautiful view during the day. so all in all, it was a good experience. Also, the dryer was making a really loud horrible sound so we didn’t use it. It would’ve been nice to be able to dry the clothes that were used in the hot tub. also thanks for the bottle of wine. Nice touch.!

Fantastic Place!
The deck is absolutely amazing - my favorite place and where I spent most of the vacation. The hot tub was sparkling clean and a welcomed relief for weary muscles. The owner was quick to respond to questions and the cabin is obviously well cared for and well stocked. The morning view of the mountains is breathtaking and exactly the “escape” we needed. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

My family and I celebrated my Dad's 80th birthday with a weekend at this amazing location. A birthday party on the beautiful patio with his family is something my dad says he will never forget. We enjoyed the view and the hot tub and all the property had to offer immensely. We will be back!

Oh how I wish we had more time to enjoy this amazing home! The sunrise views are incredible and I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to experience them.
