Know what you are getting into
Great property for a large group, however be warned. There is no air conditioning in this house, despite what the ad stated. When our group stayed in LG, the temperature at night was 85 degrees in the home, the upstairs with its vaulted ceilings was unbearably hot for a large group. Entire group was sweating. When asked if he could get us AC units as the ad had listed. The owner stated there was no AC, and his suggestion was to open the basement door, and prop a fan. During the stay I had to run to Lowe’s and buy two floor units just to get the house down to 73 degrees in the upstairs which is where the majority of the beds are. Evolve the, the property management company, decided to review the case. They quickly changed the ad to show that there was “no AC”, recently they changed it back to show they have AC, so I’m sure he bought some window units in case. Evolve felt $200 refund was a sufficient settlement, we entirely disagree. Other issues. Upstairs shower leaks through the light in kitchen ( dangerous), we particularly enjoyed the dead mice being eaten by baby mice on the floor of the house, we also enjoyed zero electricity-working lights in the garage, makes walking through there at night fantastic. Also bring your own grill equipment they have none.. with all of that. House has so much potential, he just needs to put time into it as the property is great, and the location is fantastic, he’s close, but needs a PM. Wish him well in working through these issues.
