Despite an ancient decor the Hotel is maintained at his highest level and it felt good to see that there are still old fashion place clean proper and well located

Great but check the small print
A great stay. Have hotels.com gold status and this is a VIP hotel, so got a room upgrade to a beautiful junior suite. Unfortunately we weren’t told what the €20 credit could and couldn’t be used for so left it untouched and unused at check out, even though we paid a balance of over €50 at the end of our stay. Be warned!

This hotel is a little old. You can see how the wear and tear has treated the rooms over the years. It is a chic hotel, with nice sofas and dining areas. It's fairly close to the Bologna city center, about a 12-15 min walk. The restaurant at the hotel was very good. The included breakfast buffet was amazing!!! The staff were very nice and helpful. This hotel, if renovated, could be a hidden gem.

We loved everything about the property with the exception of the air-conditioning. And the TV was very limited for English speaking entertain.

Our first room didn’t have hot water, so we were moved to another room. The new room was missing an end table and luggage holder. Our room keys kept stop working. My husband went down to the desk five times that first night because of water and the keys. The staff did let us check-in early that was really nice.
