This home is lovingly known by local historians as both the Kernohan House and Kleiner House; a tribute to the first two families that called this place home. Each space has been fully updated featuring new furnishings alongside lovingly restored original hardware, fixtures, vintage artwork, and special touches throughout; giving this magnificent home the moody vibe of the prohibition era.

THE SPACE
The Kernohan Residence is very spacious offering over 3,500 square feet of living space on three levels. Entry to the home is operated on a convenient keyless entry with self check-in. Reliable Wifi mesh guest network throughout the home is provided for everyone to stay connected.
On the Main Level, you’ll find an enclosed Sun Porch with seating for two to enjoy those morning cups of coffee or afternoon lemonade.
The Living Room provides comfortable seating accommodations for 8-10 with two Chesterfield style leather sofas and two wing back chairs along with a Smart TV for your streaming entertainment.
The Dining Room hosts a grand dinner table with seating up to 12 guests.
The Kitchen has been updated with that vintage look and offers all new appliances including an extra large refrigerator and double oven.
The Primary Bedroom is your private retreat, complete with a queen size bed, a sitting area, and bathroom ensuite.
Make your way up the stairway to the Second Level that includes 1 bathroom with laundry, 1 Full bedroom, 1 King bedroom, 1 Queen bedroom, and 1 Queen bedroom with a bonus kids bedroom that provides a trundle bed with 2 twins and an Office desk setup.

The Backyard is a spacious fully fenced outdoor space beautifully landscaped with mature trees providing lots of shade over the grassy yard. A propane BBQ grill is also provided. In the evenings, you and your guests can unwind and reconnect under the grapevine draped pergola.
PARKING
4 Vehicles MAX permitted at this property. Guests may park up two vehicles in the garage driveway, street parking is also permitted along the sidewalk adjacent to the home’s property to accommodate 2 extra vehicles and/or a vehicle with a Boat. Please do not utilize street parking on the opposite side the street or extending beyond the home’s property line.

***To host a gathering of more than 12 people, guests will need to make prior arrangements with the host, with a possible additional fee. Should you host more people than the occupancy permitted without permission, you will incur a fine and/or be asked to vacate the property immediately.
***Guests have full access to all living spaces on the Main Floor and Second Floor. Guests are NOT permitted to use the basement or the garage at this time.
***We provide a start of toilet paper and paper towels. You may need to buy more.
***Soaps, shampoos, toiletries, condiments, zip locks, propane and coffee are not regularly provided. You are welcome to use what you find, but please plan to provide these for your stay.
***You are staying in farm country and may encounter outdoor critters and bugs of the crawling or flying type.
***No late check-out or early check-in. If a guest does not vacate the property by 10AM on their scheduled day of departure, the fee for failing to vacate is $50.00 dollars for the first half hour and $100.00 for each subsequent half hour that the guest fails to vacate the property.
***No refunds for weather/natural disasters/power outages/acts of god/other things that are beyond our control.
***Absolutely no fires inside or out. Unauthorized fires (including candles) will be charged $100 plus damages.
***Guests staying 8 nights or longer will incur additional fees for housecleaning services on a weekly basis throughout the length of your stay.
***Neighbors: This rental home is in a quiet neighborhood so we ask for your assistance in respecting our friendly neighbors by not hosting parties of any sort and keeping music indoors and noise quiet after 10pm each night. This helps our neighbors stay enthusiastic about our vacation rental services.
***Landscaping maintenance for the front and back yard is a weekly occurrence at this property in the spring, summer, and fall season, so don’t be alarmed if they stop by.
SMOKING POLICY
This is a NON-SMOKING PROPERTY. NO SMOKING of any kind, including vaping or other alternative smoking methods, is permitted within this home or on the property and any report of or violation of our smoking policy will result in a fine of $500 and/or be asked to vacate the property immediately. Guests wishing to smoke may do so on the sidewalk away from the property line.
PET POLICY
While we love our non-human family members, we have a strict NO PET POLICY at this home. Violations of this policy will result in a fine of $500 and/or immediate cancelation of your stay.
