Camel's Back Park is an 11-acre urban park in Boise, Idaho, managed by the Boise Parks and Recreation Department. The park includes picnic tables, play areas, an outdoor gym, practice fields, and facilities for tennis and volleyball and is home to the Hyde Park Street Fair filled with local vendors, live music and food trucks.

A “sub” urban retail area of the age of Hyde Park is unusual for any community. It rivals such famous areas like the Niles District in Oakland for its character and quality. Here you will find Java, Goodie's Candy Shop, 13th Street Pub, and North End Pizza to just name a few eateries along with treasured boutiques.

This unit is also only 5 minutes from Bogus Basin road. Drive up 30 minutes to Bogus Basin to ski in the winter or bike and hike in the summer.

Loved the neighborhood.
Hyde Park is such a pleasant neighborhood. My husband loved waking up early to go to Camel Back park for a work out and bring back coffee from, "Hyde Perk" to our cozy little VRBO.

Amazing location, Listing a bit misleading
The location is great and very walkable to restaurants & recreation areas, close to downtown and Boise State University was a quick and easy drive. Pet friendly. Heaters worked well/kept the it warm. Quiet, especially for basement and rarely heard upstairs occupants. Very comfortable bed. The listing is a bit misleading and exaggerated (in my opinion). Was impressed when booking, but after our stay, I reread the listing and it sounds more like a Sunset Magazine article. As example, would not consider the kitchen to be a “culinary delight” as it’s a fairly standard set up. Also, the bathroom is very small and would not say it is a “masterpiece of modern design” like something Joanna Gaines banged out on a rebuild. Couches were uncomfortable to sit on. Listing says for 4 but can’t imagine anyone sleeping on them. So, perfect stay for 2 only. Upon entering, it was musty and noticed several air fresheners scattered around the space. Turned on the heaters and got some air flowing which helped solve. 10am checkout felt a bit early, usually have 11am at least so felt a bit rushed in the morning. Parked on street, which was totally fine and close to the entry door, but listing shows parking (there are 3 spaces for 5 units). Overall it worked out well for our needs. It is a nice, clean, pet friendly space in a great area of Boise and I would stay here again and recommend. However, the listing is a bit overstated vs. reality based on many other places we’ve stayed.

It was clean and exactly as advertised. Most importantly, the bed was comfy and the heaters worked well to keep us warm. The neighborhood was walkable and close to downtown and all it has to offer.

Visiting a relative.
Safe and conveniently located. Right around the corner from our where our son lives. We were close to recreation during the day, could visit him and take him out in the evening and felt very safe returning to a clean and comfortable bungalow.

Great stay!
This cottage was the perfect location. We walked to the gulch and all around the beautiful park and it is also an easy walk to restaurants and coffee on 13th Street. Nice quiet area for a perfect get away.

Perfect Stay in the North End
This North End VRBO property was perfect! The location is great--short walking distance to Hyde Park and Camel's Back Park--and not far from downtown Boise. The house was very clean and comfy--we had everything we needed for our stay! The management was so responsive. Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting Boise!
