Terrible experience. The lock on my door didn't work, and after 2 failed attempts at repairing it, I insisted on a new room. However the lock did not work on the door of the 2nd room! There was no acknowledgment by the staff that this was even a problem (in central Bogotá), and I was treated like I was being inconvenient. There was no hot water in the whole hotel for an entire morning - again no apology. The staff would all benefit from customer service training. It's remarkable this hotel has a 5 star rating, the whole experience was more 2 star at best. My advice is to avoid this hotel. I am seriously re-thinking my NH loyalty status.

My air conditioner didn’t work well, it would turn on for 5 mins and then shut off at like 77 degrees F. It was a pretty warm room overall in a bad way. There were a lot of small cosmetic issues around the room in the shower and bathroom and walls that had to be patched or repainted. The elevators were small and not really great looking. The timer for the room key scan was a second too short. My room telephone only worked on speaker phone and it took us a while to realize that only the handset didn’t work, not the whole phone. The TV did not offer any streaming services. The WiFi was fast and reliable for all devices I used and VERY easy to connect.

I had to book this hotel last minute because of a flight delay. The hotel was responsive about checking in after midnight and all of the staff were very helpful and friendly. It can be a bit noisy outside on the weekends, but with the windows shut the noise is minimal and the nightlife in the area is worth it.

The hotel itself is fine. The attractive rooftop picture is nothing like that in reality - unlit, unattractive and no service at night. The check in process is clunky and long. There was no hot water and no apology from the staff when reported. But the worst is that the rooms facing the street are also across from a nightclub whose music can be heard throughout the night until 5.30 am. I like NH a lot but think this is a terrible place to stay.

Overall very good. Pluses and minuses. One woman in particular left me standing at the front door at night and seemingly ignored my attempts to enter. Not busy with customers but not listening for someone to enter. Room needed more lighting and was dark in areas like the closet. Breakfast was great with lots of different things changing daily. Staff there attentive I took the hotel taxi service and was very impressed with Andrea. I overpaid her on purpose and she tried to return the extra money. I thought she was really honest and appreciate this. Her driving was excellent too Roof top area was nice but could use some eclectic outlets near the seating area. The seats were ok but very hard. The gym looked complete and well maintained although I never used it Bed was comfortable and the shower had so much pressure it hurt
