Riad Fès - Relais & Châteaux

A very impressive experience
"Just off a busy street of souks, down some quiet alleys, this riad starts gives a very unassuming impression that is quickly subverted once you pass through its door into the palatial lobby. In comparison to other Moroccan cities, the riads of Fes have a grander feel with high, reaching ceilings, but this is above and beyond the others I have seen, with luxury in every detail.
The space itself was beautiful, the room we had was lovely (pics in the listing are accurate).
We made use of the hammam and spa services and would recommend those as well. Sitting in the common area after our massages, drinking tea while the impossibly long, light curtains swayed gently in the air currents was one of the most relaxing experiences in recent memory.
While we didn’t eat there for dinner, we had drinks at the bar on the roof for sunset and by the fountain in the evening and if you’re through exploring the city, these are great options to unwind.
All in all, we were incredibly impressed with the riad and would stay again in a heartbeat. "
