The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We asked if we could check in a bit early so we could change clothes for a funeral. The staff made it happen even though the night before they had been sold out. Awesome service.

The hotel is dated and there was a mildew smell throughout. The pool had so many chemicals in it my son didn’t even want to swim. He lasted like 5 minutes. We didn’t have toilet paper when we checked in. You could tell housekeeping was lax. The staff was friendly, we felt safe and there wasn’t much outside noise. This is one of the few hotels in the are, they could benefit from some upgrades. They breakfast was ok.

Clean and friendly.
The hotel is definitely dated, but the staff was doing some upgrades. The room and lobby were very clean. All of the staff were WONDERFUL. Very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I’d definitely recommend for a stay in the Bluefield area.

Disappointed in Bluefield
We have been coming to this hotel for roughly 25 years. This by far was the worst stay, and probably my last. There was no air conditioning in the lobby, staff said it had been out for over a month. Check in went smoothly, but other than that, the staff was pretty much absent and unavailable. Breakfast was bad. They were not prepared for refilling foods. Yogourt was fine.:) My room was ok, the sink was stopped up and drained slow. Bed was good. All in all......a negative experince. The price did not relfect the service. :(
