Note: We do NOT have a hot tub due to sanitation issues. There is no way to safely do one in a rental. Enjoy the three pools which includes an indoor heated pool & Kiddo pool at the rec center instead.
Eagle Creek Hideaway is situated in a private valley and sits right on Flat Creek. You can sit on the screened-in porch and listen to the fast-flowing creek, or it is an easy walk down to the water where you can enjoy a fire next to the creek. There are several benches and a swing along the creek where you can just listen and view nature at its best. Kids and adults alike will enjoy the 12' Tipi by the creek.
Our cabin is a great place to just get away and relax in seclusion. The cabin is decorated with a lot of thought put into the mountain experience. There are hardwood floors throughout. Vaulted wood ceilings with exposed beams and skylights that let in natural light. The master bedroom opens onto the screened in porch, so on cool nights you can open the door and let the sounds of the creek soothe you to sleep. You can kick back with a book and relax in peace. The only noise you hear is the fast-flowing creek and an occasional hawk. Hawks like to catch the updraft from the wind blowing through the valley and over the ridge tops. To stay connected the cabin has complimentary fiber internet (Wi-Fi) and cable television. Of course, staying connected to the outside world is always optional.
Eagle Creek Hideaway is located in Coosawattee River Resort (CRR) in North Georgia near Ellijay. CRR is a gated 6500-acre resort that the Coosawattee River flows through. There are many amenities to be enjoyed in CRR while renting our cabin including 3 swimming pools, (2 outdoor and 1 indoor heated pool), game room, large well-equipped gym, 18-hole putt putt, tennis courts, basketball courts, stocked fishing pond (no license req). The Rec center and pools are accessible for a nominal fee. There are several parks along the Coosawattee River with playgrounds and picnic tables. You can also take a chance at catching some big trout that the Coosawattee River is known for.
Eagle Creek Hideaway is also a great central location if you want adventure, with easy access to the main road (less than 1 mile from gated entrance) where all the mountain adventures await. Many stores from big, to small town locally owned stores will have anything you should need. Restaurants are very abundant from your common chain restaurants to local favorites. There are small ice cream shops, bars, and soda shops close by. Everything you need to make great memories that will last a lifetime.
The cabin has easy access. The roads to our cabin are paved, and our driveway is paved from the road down to the level parking area. We strive to make our cabin the most enjoyable experience possible. Please take time to read our reviews. Thanks for looking.

When we head for the North Georgia mountains, our primary goal is rest and relaxation. And this place provided it. The sounds of the creek and the views of the Creek or just what the doctor ordered. The fire pit was a nice size with plenty of seating. The screen room was perfect for morning coffee and outdoor eating.

Best getaway!
My family needed to get unplugged. For a whole week we were device free. And there was no better place to do that than here. My kids played in the creek, played games, or read books all week. It was quiet and relaxing. A must see !

Great family vacation
We had a great stay at this cabin for our family vacation. A storm did roll in and knocked out the power for a couple days. This by no means was the host fault and they had no control over it.The host was super responsive and very empathetic to the situation. Property and host were A+. Although we did not have power we had pool days to stay cool during the day and played board games at night by flashlights. We made memories that will never be forgotten.

Resort Amenities Kept Our Grands Busy
Eagle Creek Hideaway was a great cabin for our annual trip with our grandchildren, ages 2 to 11. Lots of beds and two bathrooms. A large dining table with plenty of chairs. Washer and Dryer. And, a wonderful creek, of course! The weather this week was a bit wet, so the Resort where the cabin is located with a big, covered pool was a lifesaver! The kids enjoyed the pool (there's a baby pool, too), the free popcorn and the arcade room. Bring your quarters for the arcade! Thank you, Brian, for sharing your cabin with our family!

Mountain top getaway
Secluded area with nice creek side frontage next to relaxing firepit. They have all the amenities you could need. We visited in march and had some rainy cool days. Fun place for kids to enjoy the creek and teepee.

Relaxing cabin getaway
This is the second time we've stayed here in the last four years. The creek in the back of the house with covered and screened-in porch is the main reason we returned. The sound is incredibly relaxing and a huge change of scenery from where we live in the Midwest. Our kids loved playing along the creek and enjoyed the rec center as well. Love this place and look forward to coming back again in the future.

Great stay - great location - great owners - super clean
My family and I stayed here in January. The cabin and property was so great. The cabin was super clean and accommodating. We really enjoyed its coziness and also absolutely loved the fast moving creek in the backyard. Who needs a white noise machine when you can hear the real thing. The creek was amazing to see and hear, and the property grounds were very nice as well. We enjoyed a fire in the fire pit next to the roaring creek as well as warm cozy fires in the two fireplaces in the cabin. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to go visit the cabin again soon. Go check it out. You will be glad you did.

Have you ever gone over to a friends house and it wasn't modern, fancy, or filled with the newest everything, but you felt totally comfortable and you just wanted to snuggle in and stay? Well, we did and we stayed for 6 nights and 5 beautiful fall days. The house is comfortable and has everything you can think of for a great visit. The outdoors is beyond gorgeous and fun. It's the whole package of good family comfort and fresh outdoor beauty. Definitely the cabin in the woods vibe with a stream you can hear from the house while sitting in the screened porch. The host are pleasant to work with and very responsive. Thanks for sharing your place with us!

Amazing creek front location.
We booked to spend a weekend viewing property for sale, we would come back every evening/afternoon to the wonderful sound of the rushing creek. I did make us determined to find a place in north Georgia. We actually located a home in Blue Ridge on a similar creek and have it under contract. The owner Brian, was quick and responsive! kids loved exploring the water & rocks
Kids (6, 10) jumped out of the car and immediately started exploring the rocks, water, teepee. Owners had everything we needed to cook & serve (spatula, measuring cups, pots, tongs, soup ladle). Indoor pool at rec center was a hit for our 2 rainy / cold days. Cash for small arcade. Panaroma Orchard nearby - bought fresh tomatoes & sourdough bread to supplement the food we brought to cook in. Backing up into the driveway worked best for us, using back up camera. Thanks for opening up your home for our family’s weekend away!

Piece of paradise!
This cabin was amazing! From the teepee our kids played in, to the creek they fished in, this place had it all. We enjoyed s’mores by the fire pit, all you needed were the ingredients and wood. I loved having my quiet time by the creek, in the swing that faced the cross. What a way to start my day. The CLEAN house had everything you would need to cook meals. Huge fridge to really grocery shop. We even utilized the washer and dryer. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space in the bedrooms. We truly felt this was our home away from home and we did not want to leave. We went into Chattanooga on one of our days and it was an easy ride from the cabin. Ellijay is only 10 minutes away with grocery stores and restaurants. Their downtown is cute as well. A great time was had by all.
