This beautiful creekside retreat truly lives up to its name! Situated on rushing Fightingtown Creek, this lovely 'Southern Living' design cabin boasts 3 bedrooms, 2 baths with all the bells and whistles. The minute you exit your car, you will enjoy the rushing sounds of the creek in your back yard. Cozy up by the fireplace on the screen porch overlooking the creek, play a game of pool in the oversized recreation room or lounge in the 6 person hot tub. Sports fans/movie lovers will enjoy the newly added 52-in plasma TV in the rec room. This cabin has many unique upgrades including kitchen with granite countertops/ stainless appliances and exquisite stonework in the baths. If you enjoy trout fishing, tubing or just playing around in one of the most beautiful creeks in the area, look no further than your front yard! Roast marshmallows in the firepit or just relax in the hammock and watch the creek go by. You will truly enjoy your mountain experience in this luxury cabin.

Loved the seclusion of this place. It rained quite a bit while we were there. Enjoyed the view of the river while sitting on the deck and the game room downstairs was a big hit. Went to Mercier's Orchard three days in a row, they have a great store.

Fun Family Vacation
We were impressed with every aspect of this secluded lovely mountain home. Had everything we needed and more. Clean, no pet smell that we worried might be in a pet friendly place, and everything was great. A little hard to find, but not too bad to be a negative. Just watch the directions closely. Kids could swim in the gentle cool creek 100 yards from the back deck. 10 minutes from McCaysville which has a nice grocery store. Definitely a 10.

Creek-n-awesome!
The cabin location is truly beautiful. It has the perfect trail to walk down and jump in the creek and float back down to the cabin. Fishing is a lot of fun and we truly spent 95% of our time by the creek. The property manager was quick to respond to questions and helping us to find the property when the gps took us the wrong direction. I would absolutely return to this location with our young children and my parents again!

McCaysville Stay
If you’re looking for a rustic, secluded stay in the woods, Creek-n-Awesome is for you. The property is one of three homes on the road. Two homes were unoccupied during our stay resulting in blissful seclusion! The screened porch was our go-to for morning coffee and an evening toddy. The sound/sight of the water was heavenly. A fenced dog corral is available for pooches to run, but the grass was too high for our Chihuahua. The owner was quick to respond when we had questions. Downtown McCaysville is just a short drive away for eats and shopping. Be cognizant of opening/closing times. Not all restaurants and retail establishments are open every day, and several have limited hours while open. Blue Ridge is another option for dining/shopping; the drive is relatively short.

Screen Porch Paradise
Grab your coffee or wine and enjoy this beautiful cabin. Curated with style and location to take you away from it all! Plenty of spaces to gather or tuck away. Having a game room and a covered hot tub was the win for my husband and adult age children. But for me, it was the screened porch, fire place, cozy sitting and the views and sounds of the rushing water. Our host was great and was quick to respond to any questions. This place is on my list to rent again.

Well stocked but the janitor could be doing a better job on a few things.. linens were clean and smelled good, but floors and porches could have had have received more attention. The owner was VERY responsive! Loved the setting, loved the fireplaces... pool table was a nice touch

We had the best time celebrating Christmas here in this beautiful cabin! We came from Ga, Fl and Texas. This cabin has everything you will need and the owners are spot on with replying at anytime. Its not the end of civilization but it can be seen.

Relaxing stay
House was very comfortable and our two teenage boys had a great time using the game room and even survived the slower Internet speeds. Might have been nice to have a few extra blankets but we slept well. House is close to town but on a very narrow road that made us a little nervous when we worried we might encounter another vehicle that might need to pass but we had no issues. Owner was very easy to reach with questions. I did not see this in the reviews but a huge plus is that the decks are screened so smaller dogs can’t run off and there are gates with solid hinges on all deck openings. River is easily accessible. When we visited, McCaysville closed on days the train did not run so plan accordingly. A great stay!
