Best Cabin Ever
It’s always a gamble when you rent a place. Are the pictures true to scale (wide angle lenses making places look bigger than they are), are the pictures current, how clean is it and how inviting is the space? These anre all things I consider when booking a place. Let me tell you, this place did not disappoint in any shape or form. The property owners answered all of my questions, sent us an update letting us know the property was open and available prior to the listed check-in which was amazing. They even went as far as to provide a video walking you through pulling into the driveway because it is a bit confusing. That was extremely helpful. When we first arrived, the housekeeper had left us a welcome bag that was so sweet. As we started walking through the home, they truly went the extra mile to make you feel right at home. There were several coffee machines to choose from, the beds were so comfortable and the bed linens were astounding. They provided laundry supplies in the event you wanted to wash your clothing while you were there. I fell absolutely in love with the throw on the couch and will be buying one for my home. You had amazing throws outsides to keep you warm and cozy if you wanted to enjoy the porch and the views. There was tons of firewood. I assume the air horn inside was in the event you encountered a bear and not just for my son to scare me. The bathroom had soft towels, a hair dryer and hair straightener. I just could not ask for a better property.

The overall experience was fantastic, from making the reservation to communicating with the property owner to check in/check out. The cabin was exactly as described and the decor was beautiful. The view from the cabin was amazing and the amenities were great!! We will definitely look to stay there again.

Fantastic Stay!
We loved our time at Point of View! It’s a beautiful home and very, very comfortable. The kitchen was extremely well stocked—there were enough plates and bowls for three or four full meals for 6* people. Of course we didn’t use all of them at once, but I really appreciated that we didn’t have to scrounge for anything and never worried about having to wash dishes in between dinner and dessert, for instance. The beds were all extremely comfortable with plenty of extra blankets and pillows. I loved that the bed had three different types of pillows to meet different preferences and needs. My husband and I always bring our own pillows when we travel, and if we are lucky enough to visit again, we will feel safe leaving our pillows at home. The bathrooms had plenty of soap, paper products, towels, and washcloths. There were even two fluffy robes hanging in the closets of each room. All in all, we totally enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the house to friends and family!

This cabin is everything it says it is and More! It smelled so clean and was spotless when we arrived. Marco was so kind and answered our questions quickly. We came down from WI to hike with our dog, and had a great time doing that, but looked forward to getting back and hanging out at this beautiful place. Thank you so much!!! The BEST cabin we've rented in Blue Ridge!!
We could go on and on about ALL the things we loved about this property, the owners, and our stay at Point of View!! All the amenities were a treat. Some of the small things we noticed & loved: Molton Brown products in bathrooms, makeup remover towels, child/pet proof gates on decks, wood provided, two grill types, teas & coffee beans, 2 types of coffee makers & an Espresso machine, all the spices, oils you need, a welcome gift of S'mores & roasting sticks, thick soft towels, crystal clean hot tub, pets welcome. We asked to add on an additional day to our reservation and the owner gave a discounted price without us even asking! We tried to book again for next Fall but unfortunately it's taken :(. We highly recommend.

The property is exactly what was outlined in the listing. Great place to take your spouse. Downtown is close by. There are tons of great nuances to the home. Very picturesque and private. Spa extremely clean, all rooms dialed in to a tee. Kitchen wasn’t short handed with items for cooking, coffee and had a small set up pantry items for forgotten things. Fireplaces on each level and a great game room. We love to Bbq and there were 2! All and all A+. Best VRBO I have stayed in!

We went to Blue Ridge for our kids Spring Break! We had a wonderful trip and the cabin was fabulous! The most well stocked rental we have ever stayed in. Kids loved the hot tub and pool table. We would definitely recommend this cabin to everyone!

We stayed at the property for 5 nights with the intent to go to the Fire & Ice festival. We had such a great time at the festival. It was extremely cold with the wind chill. This property is gorgeous! The cabin has everything you need. The property managers are easy to work with and communicate with. So much to do at the cabin even if you don’t venture out, like hot tub, pool, darts, all kind of card games and dominos. Plenty of fireplaces in this cabin. Love the outdoor fireplace area with burning wood. They are stocked up with plenty of firewood and starter. Would highly recommend this cabin in Blue Ridge.

Wonderful Weekend!
My husband and I were looking for a weekend escape with our friends, and A Point of View was the perfect place to go. I was concerned that the weather forecast wasn’t great (rain all weekend), but that wasn’t a problem at all. The cabin was so beautiful and cozy that we were perfectly content staying indoors (except to enjoy the outdoor fireplace and the hot tub, and to stroll around the shops in Blue Ridge on Saturday afternoon). It was a little tricky finding the cabin and navigating the winding roads up the mountain, and I’m glad we didn’t have to drive at night. We brought plenty of food and wine with us to enjoy the well-equipped kitchen, and we made good use of the fireplaces and pool table. All 3 bedrooms, each on its own level, are really nice, so neither couple had to sacrifice comfort. The cabin is lovely - better than the pictures - and our kind hosts generously offered us an early check-in and late checkout. We highly recommend A Point of View and we would love to stay there again!

Wonderful Family Getaway
We met our children and their spouses at this beautiful cabin the weekend before Thanksgiving, and stayed for four nights. This is a gorgeous cabin, pet friendly, with plenty of room to spread out. We had beautiful weather and rainy weather, so we were able to enjoy exploring the Blue Ridge area, as well as enjoy all of the comforts and amenities of the cabin. It truly has everything you need, and owners Marco and Mariene could not have been any more welcoming, gracious, and available through phone and email! The housekeeper did a fabulous job of getting the cabin ready. It was spotless and she even left us a gift of s’mores fixings. We all would highly recommend this cabin to those traveling to the Blue Ridge area.

What a beautiful cabin with great amenities. More coffee machines than we knew what to do with which is great for a family full of coffee drinkers! Hot tub always worked which can be a hit or miss for other cabins, but we could tell they really take care of things here. Overall, a really great stay.
