Convenient location. No coffee at all in the 1 small pitcher and after notifying them and waiting 10 mins still no coffee. No bacon, empty container... only shredded chicken for meat. Only fruit was green apples. 1/2 pitcher of milk in a small container and only "real" plates which I was told I could not bring to the room for my wife who was not feeling well.

Friendly staff. Nice, clean rooms and facilities. Good breakfast. Fair price for a two room suite. Each room has its own heat and air unit. Ceiling fan in the bedroom. Pull out sofa bed wasn't the most comfortable for our two littles, but we made it work. Only minor gripe is that we were charged $15 a day for parking during check out. That was not mentioned during booking or check in. Kind of pricey, but at least we had a designated spot and didnt have to find on street parking in a downtown area. Would definitely recommend and stay again when in Birmingham.

The hotel itself was fine. The room was large and comfortable. The hotel is located in a not so great area of downtown Birmingham called Five Points. I thought I had booked the Hilton on the edge of UAB’s campus as we were visiting my daughter who is a student at UAB. Five Points is not an area to be in after dark. Another thing is there is no on site parking. They direct you to a parking garage also located in Five Points or you can use street parking. We ended up parking our car at my daughter’s apartment and she just picked us up and dropped us off. Bottom line, the hotel is fine, the area is not and we will not stay here again.

Good location for Furnace Fest. Breakfast was good. Elevator was a little slow and buggy but the rooms are great. Like a small apartment with kitchen, stove etc. I will book again next time around.
