First floor room moldy
We stayed here on an upper floor in March and our stay was great. This time, we had more of the kids with us and we had two rooms on the ground floor. The kids’ room (two are legal adults) kept smelling like a cannabis vape, and our room clearly had mold issues. The a/c unit and the ceiling had visible mold; the room absolutely reeked of mold. It gave us headaches, and just knowing it was there made us sleep poorly. We sprayed our natural, coconut and lemon scented hand sani into the a/c vents and it helped for awhile, so we kept doing that but they were three long nights. We would possibly stay here again, but definitely not on the ground floor.

It was very convenient, clean, and mostly quiet although we did hear some highway noise at night. A curious thing happened. In the evening we left our room to go to dinner. When we returned our room door was slightly open. We entered carefully, but nothing was amiss or disturbed. We checked the door and discovered that it does not close completely when exiting as most modern hotels do. We realized that for the remainder of our stay to give the knob a tug as we leave.
