The Gordon Homestead, circa 1790, includes a fully renovated family home, updated with modern conveniences while maintaining a little old world charm. This is the perfect place to get away from it all on over 200 acres nestled in a relaxed country setting yet less than 15 minutes from historic sites, shops and restaurants. We hope that your family will fall in love with this property and make memories that are as special as those my family has enjoyed over the years.

The upstairs balcony is an excellent place to enjoy the stars. The outdoor fire pit is the ideal place to enjoy an amazing sunset and transition to an evening of s'mores by a fire or retreat inside to shoot a game of pool or play a board or card game.
This is a quiet country setting. Every star in the sky can be viewed with no interfering lights to block the visibility. The endless amounts of wildlife not only include deer, turkey, fox, squirrel, rabbits, turtles and many varieties of birds, but also bears, bald eagles, and porcupine. You can enjoy the peaceful sunrises from the front porch or balcony. Enjoy the amazing sunsets from the backyard firepit.
Please note that some elements of nature are unavoidable in the country. Despite the fact that we contract regular exterminator services for our home, you may encounter an occasional insect indoors, and the outdoors are beyond our control.
