Are there places to play outside?
Yes, the lot provides ample space for the kids to enjoy outdoor fun. In the Winter there is a small sledding hill in the back of the house. Grab some sleds and hit the snow.
Can we cook at the house?
You'll love the flexibility of being able to go out or stay in to cook. We stock our kitchen with pots, pans, plates, glassware, utensils. If you're unsure about what we might have, ask us. The kitchen boasts a stove and oven, which will give you the ability to whip up a beautiful brunch. In addition, we provide a toaster, microwave, and coffeemaker. (*Please note the pizza oven is for decorative purposes only, unfortunately it is not functional. )
The dining room provides a timeless setting for meals, conversation, and leisure. The dining room table offers seating for ten. Add a layer of mountain charm by firing up the woodstove and revel in the evening.
Is Wifi available?
Yes, the house is equipped with a Wifi mesh network to keep you connected if you want to be.
Are the fireplaces functional?
Oh yes! They will keep you warm on the coldest of nights.
The living room fireplace is a fully functional wood-burning fireplace. Grab a Duraflame log, a lighter, and some firewood from any of our local gas stations or grocery stores, and you'll be ready to keep the mountain vibes flowing.
The dining area boasts a wood-burning stove. Therefore, firewood and a duraflame log are appropriate.
The master bedroom is a gas-burning fireplace. No firewood or duraflame log is required.
Should I bring linens, towels, and pillowcases?
We understand nobody wants to travel with their sheets and pillowcases. Our linens will rival any hotel, and our cleaning crew will take care of everything when you leave. We provide linens for each bed. We wash every piece of bedding before your visit. We'll also make sure there's plenty of towels.
Is the house a good place for children?
Yes! We've had several families stay with us, and they've found the house perfect for a family getaway. The large lot provides ample space to enjoy the outdoors. Easy access to hiking, skiing, and the lake makes life easy when it's time to get back to the house for nap time.
Inside the living room is the ideal family area. It boasts a sixty-five-inch T.V. and pool table. This space makes entertaining the family simple.

The Grand Mountain Lodge is 3800 square feet and sits on a one acre lot.
