Comfy accomodation in a great location
We had excellent communication with our host. The accomodation was comfortable, and terrific value. Very easy to park our car next to where we were staying, and the stunning Hartland coast was close by. We had a really great time!

Family stay at the Scrumpy Duck
This is a lovely static caravan on a small, peaceful, family-run campsite on the edge of Hartland village. We enjoyed exploring some of the coastal path and the ANOB, Hartland peninsular. The village was less than 5 minutes walk away with a post office and local store as well as a cafe serving nice cakes and 3 pubs which had music on some nights and served good food (including takeaway pizzas at the King's Arms). Zoe was great and on hand if you needed anything. Thank you for a lovely stay, the Cooper family.

Would recommend this site very highly, tea, coffee, washing up liquid, towels all supplied, the caravan was very clean and comfortable. Several places to eat within easy walking distance, we found this was a great base for continuing our walk around the South Coast Path

Wonderful stay
We had a wonderful few days stay at Scrumpy Duck. The caravan totally met, even exceeded, expectations, with lovely decor and special touches. Zoe came to say hi the morning after we arrived, and stopped by to wish us a good journey home, she couldn't have been friendlier! The caravan site was in a good location, easy to find and Hartland was a great little village. We will definitely be looking to return and do more exploring!

Lovely short break
The property was clean and well stocked. Lovely location and the host came and checked that we had all we needed. Only one small gripe, and it is very small. No suitable plates/bowls for cereal in the morning.

Lovely short stay, the caravan was well equipped with everything you could need. The fenced garden was great for the two dogs. Only negative was lack of wifi.

Just lovely!
We had a lovely stay - great that we could just get straight into the property when we arrived - no lengthy check-in procedure. Real thought had gone into the decor - it was pretty, clean and bright. Within walking distance of local shops and a range of pubs. Great that the garden was fenced in as it meant we could let the dog out without worrying. A real bonus to have use of the washing machine in the toilet / shower block opposite - meant we didn't come home with a tonne of washing! In terms of location, it was perfect for us. A short drive into North Cornwall where we could enjoy some great bodyboarding. Zoe even arranged a week of sunshine! All in all, a perfect stay - we would certainly return!

A lovely stay in North Devon
Lovely caravan that was spotlessly clean and very nicely furnished. Fenced area around the van was perfect as we took our dog with us. Site was lovely and generally quiet, except for a yappy dog in a neighbouring van that was let out early morning. Location was good, a few minutes drive to the coast and the village of Hartland was lovely with 3 pubs to choose from for food / drinks. A great base to explore Devon and north Cornwall. We had a great break and would definitely return. Thank you :-)

Absolutely lovely…Highly recommend.
This caravan is like home from home. Zoe and family has thought of everything. We took certain items we didn’t think would be there ie Washing up Liquid, Dish cloths toilet rolls etc and we needed have bothered as Zoe had thought of everything. It was so nice to have an enclosed garden as we took our dog with us and she just loved laying out on the Decking in the sun which we were lucky with the week we were there. Thank you Zoe and family we will definitely see you again.

Summer Holiday June 2021
This delightfully decorated caravan had everything we needed for a lovely stay in Devon. The kitchen was very well equipped with all crockery and cutlery, including washing up liquid, condiments and tea towels. There was hand-wash in the bathroom, bath towels were provided and the very comfortable bed was made up for our arrival. Zoe had left us a very thoughtful welcome card and a supply of biscuits, coffee and tea. The enclosed garden was brilliant for dogs and had a picnic bench as well as a built-in seat on the decking. Although the days were hot and sunny it did get chilly in the evenings and early morning but there was a fire in the living area and heaters in all other rooms so this isn't a problem. The site was well maintained and the caravan was spotlessly clean and I would have no hesitation returning here or recommending it to others.

Short break
The van was nice , the caravan park was lovely except for the noise from the on site Allin steel panel beating firm that started early morning +during the day . The weather kept us inside more than we expected or we may not have realised the problem . Noise from the road immediately behind the van woke us early.
