It really is the ideal choice for a relaxing break.
The beautiful National Trust Sandymouth beach in Cornwall is a short drive away, with good surfing, relaxing on the sand or walks along the cliffs. Slightly further into Cornwall you will find Bude and its choice of two beaches, shops and surf schools. On the North Devon coast there is easy access to the South West Coastal Path and more great walks, including Hartland Lighthouse and the popular tourist town of Clovelly. Bikes are available to hire in Bideford for family-friendly cycling on the Tarka Trail.
The village of Woolsery is home to a highly acclaimed restaurant and adjacent fish and chip shop, perfect for an evening out or an evening in.
The property owner supplies a fishing pass so you can enjoy fishing for carp, roach and tench in the adjacent lakes.
