I recently stayed at a charming hotel for a short break and, overall, it was a pleasant experience. However, I did encounter a few issues that could be improved upon.
Firstly, finding the entrance during my late-night check-in was quite challenging due to inadequate lightning. It took me a few minutes if wandering around before I finally located the entrance, which left me a bit frustrated after a long journey. A little more illumination in the area would go a long way in enhancing the arrival experience for the guests.
Once inside, I was pleasantly surprised by the quaintness of the hotel. My suite was well-appointed and provided a cozy atmosphere that made it perfect for a relaxing gateway.
However, while the suite itself was great, the services offered could definitely be improved. I found the staff was friendly but lacking attentiveness at times. The reception was left unmanned and the staff wouldn't respond to the bell at the desk. The shower gel in the bathroom required topping up. Such things could have been checked before the guest's arrival.
In summary, my stay was enjoyable and fulfilling, with the hotel's charming ambiance and cozy suite making it worth the trip. If the entrance visibility and staff service were addressed, this hotel could easily become a favorite for weekend gateways. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a short, peaceful break, but be prepared to navigate a few minor inconveniences.
