Charming stone villa with pool near SARLAT

Charming stone villa located in the heart of the Périgord Noir. Five minutes from the feudal village of Beynac, a veritable vestige of the Middle Ages, in which you will enjoy strolling its cobbled streets until you reach its castle, clinging to the rock.
Only ten minutes from Sarlat la Canéda, capital of black Perigord and famous tourist site. Come to discover its center town dating from the beginning of the Renaissance and discover its market where are sold the specialties of the area: foie gras, truffles, figs and nuts.
It is in the middle of this exceptional setting that the villa La Porte is located. You will appreciate in particular its panoramic sight on the emblematic valley of the Dordogne, with as a bonus, a unique interview on the feudal castle of Beynac.
You will find in this villa all the necessary comfort to spend several days in peace.
Inside, discover the charm of Perigordian houses with oak beams and a stone fireplace. The ground floor consists of two bedrooms, a bathroom and a large living room. Upstairs are three bedrooms with independent bathroom waiting for you. You can also enjoy the fully equipped kitchen, complete with a saddler, a dining room with its massive oak table and a lounge with a large sofa cook.
Outside, you have at your disposal a large terrace of more than 50m². An aluminum garden room awaits you for your meals on summer evenings by the pool.
Lovers of peace and nature will be delighted to walk in the garden surrounding the villa.
For parking, you have a closed garage, which can accommodate two vehicles and parking in front of the house.

Villa de la Porte, Beynac-et-Cazenac, Dordogne
We had a fantastic stay in Thierry's villa, which is located in a wonderful location, and with all the amenities you can think of. It was clean, spacious and all the basics were provided. Pool was a blessing given the lovely summer weather we enjoyed. Views on the dordogne and surrounding environment, given the location of the villa was exceptional. Thierry and Nathalie were excellent hosts, always kind,very responsive and helpful. Thank you for an excllent family holiday, we truly enjoyed every aspect of it anc recommend this ro everyone.

Stunning view
This is a fantastic house. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out. The terrace has the most amazing view over the Dordogne valley with 3 Chateaux. We made full use of the lovely pool area. Beynac is at the bottom of the hill and plenty of the gems of the Dordogne are within easy reach, even Sarlat is only a 10 minute drive away. The house is well equipped and very clean. Only slight downside is the wifi was patchy which meant hotspotting phones for the kids downtime at the end of the day, but not a major issue We had a fabulous week here and will be looking to return.

Très belle demeure avec une magnifique vue sur la vallée de la Dordogne
Une superbe semaine passée en famille dans cette très belle demeure. Les chambres sont agréables et la literie très bonne. La grande terrasse permet des déjeuners et des dîners tous ensemble avec une vue sur les différents châteaux ( Beynac, Castelnau,...). Le petit plus ,le départ des montgolfières le matin et le soir. Une location de qualité pour des vacances sereines, idéale pour 10 personnes.

La meilleure des locations de vacances
Maison au top, spacieuse, tout confort, très bien équipée. Très belles terrasse et piscine chauffée. Des hôtes à la fois attentifs et discrets. Cerise sur le gâteau : une vue exceptionnelle sur le château de Beynac et le spectacle quotidien des montgolfières. Commerces du quotidien à proximité, à pieds pour les plus courageux. Nous reviendrons !

Nous avons ete tres agreablement surpris: (realite meilleure que sur les photos!) Convient parfaitement pour des enfants en bas age grace a la piscine et aux escaliers securises. Region tres agreeable et logement spacieux et confortable. Nous avons passes de tres bonnes vacances.

Superbe semaine au pied de la Dordogne.
Nous sommes venu à plusieurs familles avec des enfants en bas âge et nous avons trouvé une maison parfaitement équipée et sécurisée. Tout est là pour que le séjour soit parfait. Le coin est magnifique, la vue incroyable et nous avons pu bien profiter de la terrasse et piscine qui sont la cerise sur le gâteau. Les propriétaires sont très gentils et accueillants. Nous y retournerons sans hésiter. Je vous la conseille vivement
