Farm stay getaway
Just wanted to thank Alan and Eva for the amazing weekend away and for sharing their beautiful property. The cabin offered everything you could ever need. Both Alan and Eva were extremely friendly and accommodating. Nothing was too much to ask. Alan showed us around the property after we had settled in. It was simply stunning. We were extremely grateful he shared their paradise with us. The scenery, the feeling on the property, the sounds of nature and farm animals were extremely peaceful and magical. A feast for the senses. We came for a weekend of rest, reset and balance. We e ded up hiking up to one of the hills to watch the sun rise and were rewarded with a spectacular view, one we wont forget. There is so much to explore on the property from the hills, to the creeks, looking for the beautiful orchids, picking mullberries. Or if you prefer to stop read a book and listen to the birds, then the balcony is the place to sit , to stop and breathe. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can not recommend it enough. Eva and Alan, again we appreciate you sharing your property and your hospitality. Thank you for everything. We are extremely grateful we could create beautiful memories here. too

Tranquillity and comfort
Located in small valley next to a creek, this was a peaceful place in a cosy cabin with a view over green paddocks and cows. The bed was very comfortable and even though the temperatures dropped very low overnight we never felt cold. The owners are very generous with the supplies provided, including beautifully scented lemon myrtle soap, plenty of kitchen gear and great wifi.

I and my wife recently had the pleasure of staying at Ellens and Eva farm and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, they both went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. The accommodations, coupled with exceptional views, made our stay truly memorable. I can’t wait to return on my next visit. Highly recommended!” Best trip I ever had!! Amazing place, people. Lovely hosts (Ellen and Eva).

Perfect getaway
Adam and I had a beautiful time here on the off grid farm last weekend. We really didnt want it to end. The hosts were lovely and very accomodating. Even after we arrived later than expected, we were still greeted and got given a run down of our cabin. Our cabin was perfection. Exactly what we needed. Clean, warm and functional. We were supplied with all basic necessities (milk/butter/bottled water etc), plus a few little surprises. Suppiled was also a few games, satellite tv, and the option to connect to wifi... though it was quite nice not having the phone on at all. On our last day, we were given a tour of the property...and wow. Absolutely stunning spot. I think we could easily spend a week here walking around... sitting by the creek or under the trees amongst the baby cows for hours on end. We loved staying here, and have already said we will be going back. Adam & I highly recommend! Thank you Alan & Eva.

Absolutely Breathtaking
My partner and I recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming farm stay nestled in the beautiful rolling hills of the Barrington Tops. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the serene and picturesque landscape. The tranquil sounds of birds chirping and a nearby stream provided a perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The location of the farm stay was ideal for our adventures. It was just the right distance from the Barrington Tops, making it convenient for our hiking excursions, and also close to Gloucester township. Alan and Eva, who own the property were incredibly accommodating and went out of their way to ensure our stay was exceptional. Upon arrival, they gave us a comprehensive tour of the farm, showcasing all the wonderful things it had to offer. Their hospitality made us feel right at home. We highly recommend this farm stay to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with easy access to nature and the warm, welcoming atmosphere of a family-run farm. It was truly a memorable experience, and we look forward to returning in the future.

Easy and peaceful.
Love the open valley scenery and also the rain forest walk down in the creek bed. This place was easy to get to and provided the much needed escape - A big thank you to the property owner.

The owners were very welcoming and made sure we had a lovely stay. We loved the tour Alan gave us of his property with gorgeous cattle and amazing views. We had perfect, quiet evenings with a well-stocked firepit and a BBQ. We would love to return to this property again soon.

Incredible!! This is the most perfect, private little cabin with the most generous and thoughtful hosts. It is a georgous quiet farm, all you can hear are the birds chirping and the cows mooing. You can absolutely see how much Eva and Alan care about and love their animals and there farm. YOU MUST go on the ATV tour around the property with Alan, it is a once in a lifetime experience. It's only a short drive into town and some brilliant river spots. The cabin is perfectly clean and has everything you need, even a little a veggie garden, you will be looked after very well. We cannot recommend this cabin getaway enough and we will absolutely be returning frequently in the future and sending our friends and family.

Our stay in Alan and Eva’s cabin was just wonderful. The cabin is well appointed, clean and very comfortable. It was so nice to wake up to the cows around the farm and the birds chirping, so peaceful! Went for a short drive for a swim in the creek then back for drinks on the verandah with stunning views. Highly recommend staying here for some R&R! Alan and Eva are perfect hosts! Thanks.

I don't feel the ad description does this place justice and wanted to really let people know what they were going to experience, so apologies for such a long review!! 😆 This property offers a stunning private modern cabin (separated by main house by 80m and only one cabin on property) in a picturesque setting on a small hobby farm. Owners very accommodating, friendly, and happy to share the local history of the property (old gold mine and cedar logging). Two gorgeous creeks through property, and easy driving to amazing swimming places, walking trails, national park, waterfalls, etc. Can't recommend enough.
