The dining rom is one of the most stunning rooms I have seen in my life! Reception and everywhere else is just average compared to the dining room. Great location, central to everything and they serve a really nice buffet breakfast. The service is ok, but we tried calling the front desk multiple times but no one answers. There is no concierge which seemed odd for a higher end property.

Overall, we liked the hotel, especially the location, convenient for touring, dining and general activities. Staff was welcoming and helpful. Breakfasts were impressively varied. There are two minor but key negative aspects to point out: 1) no tea was available at all in any form for people who drink that beverage only. 2) Mini fridge was stuffed with beverages that guests had to pay for. No room for one’s own provisions. Other than the above minor objections, Bergen Børs Hotel was a very good place to stay in.

Spectacular building in a great central location, great breakfast with veggie friendly options, and lovely reception staff. The Frescohallen is beautiful and the dinner was amazing - they were very accommodating to my veggie needs. The downsides - the room service was terrible (often we were left without towels and were not given replacement dishes). The bed was unusual - 2 single beds put together with individual duvets. Whilst I didn’t mind the duvets, one turn on the bed and you’re through the both of them and on the floor! Lastly, the wet room would be better as a shower/bathroom. You have the room for it. I would definitely stay again but would probably insist on a different room.

Centrally located in downtown Bergen and a 10 minute walk from the train station Bergen Bors is a beautiful hotel close to all the sights. The hotel overlooks the harbour and is nearby to the popular UNESCO Bryggen area and the funicular.

Upon arrival we were told we had reserved a small room but nothing else was available. The room was at the end of a corridor and extension cords were crisscrossing the room. No outlets to charge phones and so dark, we had to use flashlight from phone to read. Same night we wrote a message to the manager which was completely ignored. Day before checking out we asked front desk if late check out was possible, she said yes but it would cost $20 each hour (we only asked for an hour). At the same time a couple asked the other person behind the desk and they were told: no problem, no charge. We could not believe how cruel and insensitive that was. By far this was the worst experience in an European hotel after years traveling. This manager should be ashamed of himself/herself for treating customers this way. Very disappointing, definitely would NOT recommend this hotel in Bergen.
