Super 8 Benton Harbor, MI -- not so super
Our room was on the second floor. We did not see an elevator, so we had to carry our luggage upstairs. The room key card didn't work until the front desk clerk blew on it ans blew into the card slot. The air conditioner didn't work consistently.

This hotel is worth the price. I felt safe. Location was very convenient for my needs. I advise to bring a fire stick or other streaming device. The tv channels are very limited. I will happily stay again.

The halls are carpeted with a thick carpet that is dingy and sticky. The same carpwt is on the stairs ro hwt to the other floors, thus making it hard to navigate for us older folks. We always check room for cleanliness, especially the beds and bathrooms. The bed spread had staining that under UV lighting showed a not so sanitary substance. The bed sheets were also filthy with brown/reddish stains. We asked for them to be changed and they did change them with clean sheets while we stepped out. We would've changed accommodations had the weekend we were there was a very expensive weekend for the area so affordability was not an option. The windows are extremely diety and the Hvac units are sunpar. Very low pressure in shower. Toilet seat broke as well. I would not recommend.

The property is located on a very convenient distance from everything. ( Movie theater / highway /food hubs ) It's safe and the staff very welcoming. the room was spacious and everything worked perfectly for our staying and had a very economic rate compared to other hotel. I highly recommend it

Right next to a 24 hr truck stop playing music ALL NIGHT. Hotel needs updated. The chair in my room was gross, stained... Windows are so old.

Hidden gem at a reasonable price.
Nice place to stay with very comfortable bed and new AC. Some construction near the hotel made it a little hard to find but once inside it was nice. Very convenient to lots of restaurants, movie house etc on nearby exit.

Great hotel for the price. It was clean and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was just muffins,coffee and apple juice which was fine but I wish they had orange juice also, that’s all my husband drinks in the morning. Would definitely return.
