Excellent hotel! Brand new and comfortable
San Diego Express Palmares is a new hotel which was built mainly for start operations during the world cup. I arrived at July 6th and was worried about the hotel (there were some bad reviews of June on some sites) but fortunately everything was great. Staff was very kind and helpful and they hired people who talk in both English and Spanish. Room was comfortable with a nice flat TV and hot water. I totally recommend it since the hotel's area is quiet and safe too, near a big mall (Minas Shopping) in case you want to buy something. Nice experience definitely!

Hotel still being built!
We stayed there late June 2014 and it was apparently still in the process of being built for the World Cup. Our room had no mirror and no storage space and the door fit badly. Staff was eager but very inexperienced. Breakfast was good, as was the wi-fi.

Excelente hotel. A única observaçao é que todos os sucos oferecidos no café da manhã, já eram adoçados com açucar, sendo proibidos para nós, diabéticos.

Bom custo benefício
Hotel com boa localização, próximo a lugares para comer e também a um shopping. Fica entre o aeroporto de Confins e o centro da cidade. O chuveiro é bom! O café da manhã tem boas opções e era muito gostoso. Houveram 2 pontos que não curti tanto, que foi a cama (colchão não era tão bom, travesseiros muito baixos, jogo de lençóis deu a impressão de ser velho) e o estacionamento que pode lotar e vc ter que deixar o carro ao lado de fora do hotel.

Prezados Fui informada que tinha estacionamento, mas na realidade é um rotativo. Secador de cabelos também foi informado que tinha, mas não o encontrei no quarto. Não fui muito bem atendida ao ligar para a recepção e pedir copos. O funcionário não estava me ouvindo, comecei a falar mais alto e isso não o agradou. Como foi a primeira vez que fui ao hotel, não sabia dos procedimentos. Pedi que o funcionário trouxesse copos e ele me respondeu que o hotel não tinha esse tipo de serviço. Isso aconteceu porque minha chave não funcionou, não estava liberada. Fui tratada com um pouco de rispidez, mas no final nos entendemos. Mas gostaria de deixar aqui registrada a minha indignação. No dia seguinte uma funcionária nem levantou o olhar e nem foi agradável ao darmos bom dia. Lamentável.
