I felt scammed
Vrbo lists this as a one bedroom one bath. In reality it’s a studio in a small house that’s been poorly converted to a duplex. The walls are thin. You’ll hear almost everything the other tenants are doing. They also share one alarm system so every time the other tenant opens their doors you hear the system chime. It was poorly converted and only 1/2 of the already small space is air conditioned. This is not a locally owned property. They required me to download a completely different app for communication. Everything besides paying was done outside of Vrbo. The beds were unacceptable. It felt like you were sleeping on a chain link fence. I brought all of this up with the “local host” who took over 19 hours and multiple texts to get back to me to tell me there was nothing he could do. There’s no way this property is worth the nightly rate I was charged plus excessive service and cleaning fees I paid for it. For that amount I could have easily booked a stay at a Hilton property and been much more comfortable. I highly suggest you look elsewhere. I would have rather stayed anywhere else but we had already paid.

Overrated
This rental is overrated. The bunkbed was incredibly uncomfortable, there were no end tables next to the couch, and the stove served as a table to put your things down. The place was so uncomfortable that we left a day early. The host was gracious and helpful; however, I will never rent this place again. I would suggest that the owner provide a more comfortable bed, and provide tables to be able to put your things down, because there are no dressers. In addition, the rental was confusing because he is renting two different parts of the house at one time. I’m not sure whether two cars would be able to fit in the driveway.
