Excellent position at the top of the town. Cozy apartment and even though the heat wasn't allowed to be on yet for the season, it was certainly bearable on chilly October days/nights. Some people might dislike the church bells ringing in such close proximity but that never bothered us during our stay. The balcony overlooking the church and its piazza was nice and the view of the lake from the kitchen windows was fabulous.
The kitchen has a small fridge with a little freezer, 2 gas burners, a microwave, electric tea kettle, moka pot. If you're hoping to cook meals, note that there is no oven.
The bed was comfortable & there were nightstands on each side of the bed with power outlets above each--perfect for charging devices at bedside. The shower was a good size, the water pressure was excellent, and the hot water stayed hot.
For those traveling with heavy luggage, lots of luggage, or who have mobility issues, be aware that there are lots of stairs, as this apartment is on the 2nd floor (3rd floor for Americans) and there is no lift. It wasn't an issue for us but others may want to know this.
The only negative was the WiFi, which was sporadic. We had to constantly reboot the router, which didn't always help. Frustrating for those who need to work.
Other than that, the apartment was very comfortable and the host, Daniela, was very responsive.
We would happily stay again.
