Family gets away
Myself, 2 sisters and our mother went for our first get away since we were kids. The house was nicely laid out and the beds were nice and comfortable, and the kitchen was amazing. However, if you're looking to hang out and play cards or just lounge around the house that's where the comfort ends. The table was beautiful but sitting and playing cards was difficult as the seating was hard and it was difficult to navigate the bench. Everywhere you sat was not comfortable at all and there wasn't enough seating in the living room for 4. So, someone was stuck at the table. There were no hand towels or dish towels, to dry our hands in the bathroom we used the 2 wash cloths. No broom or mop so if you had an accident, "like spilling your coffee" you were on your hands and knees with the only dish cloth available. So, FYI, bring your own. They do have and amazing washer and dryer.

Weekend getaway
We loved the Grey Duck! Everything was just as described, very nice place, very conveniently located to Everything. The ease of communication between myself and the property management team was super easy and they were quick to respond. Weve found the perfect vacation spot for our gorge trips and will be back! Thanks for a great weekend!

Unbeatable location for the motherlode!
I was here for 2 weeks with my family, climbing at the motherlode (I think 4 minutes from front door to parking!!). Location is unbeatable for climbing, especially since we still have kids that need to nap. The house was the perfect size and because it's a newer house, everything felt new (like knives actually cut!). Property managers were so helpful, kind, and responsive. Two things to call your attention to, in case you skimmed the listing like I did! 1) no dishwasher, 2) full size beds, 3) third bedroom is offset from the rest of the house with a curtain. The listing is accurate, but those were 3 things that we hadn't fully appreciated until we stayed in the house!

Family trip
The house was great for a quick weekend trip to visit family nearby. The house was clean and well stocked. The only recommendation would be adding an extra chair in the living room for some additional seating. We enjoyed our stay and would return again.

Reliving a bit of the past
House was formerly owned by our beloved, recently deceased, mother/grandmother. We were very pleased with the upgrades, especially the screened-in front porch. Everyone agreed she would have loved it. Despite the summer heat, we took advantage of the fire pit Saturday night. Enjoyed our stay very much and will very likely be back.

Clean and comfortable VRBO
Very nice home. Obviously remodeled recently. Everything was clean and well set up. Really appreciated that the owner provided loads of towels in both bathrooms. The home is really nicely stocked for a family to use. The only item I would mention is the two single beds in the one room will work great for kids but they really were not that comfortable for an adult. The other two beds were fine and should meet anyone’s needs. When we arrived you could smell the cleaner they used in the home. That really was nice as it was obvious they had cleaned and the smell was a nice clean smell and dissipated quickly. The appliances in the home were new and really nice to use. Loved the washer and dryer set up. I would say though if you require a dishwasher that’s not in this home. For us that wasn’t a big deal. The water in the home was nice and hot. The air conditioner did a great job keeping the home comfortable. No issues with phone reception or internet at the home. We really enjoyed the home. I wish all VRBO homes were to this standard.

Beautiful home
I would have to say this was one of the nicest VRBO's that I've stayed in. Easy to find. Great outdoor space. Wonderful screened in front porch (perfect for morning coffee or mimosas). Covered back porch. Outdoor seating. Higher end appliances (loved having ice and water in fridge). Beautiful, big kitchen table. Fantastic kitchen tools, although there wasn't a pizza cutter. Incredibly clean throughout. Fantastic mud room to drop dirty shoes and gear. Great water pressure even when both showers were in use. One minor thing we didn't like is the 3rd bedroom is just a wall and hanging blanket for a door right off the mud room. Planning to book again for future visits.
