Great place with very reasonable price
We booked this VRBO after we just couldn't find any reasonable hotel in NYC at a reasonable price. Yes, this place is further away from the city, but if you have a car and don't mind the 30-minute drive into the city on weekends, it's great deal. This place is in the downstairs/ground floor of a single family house in a very quiet/suburban neighborhood. It has its own private side entrance and feels like an apartment with a kitchen, bathroom/shower, large living room and two bedroom with a total of 4 beds. The apartment is only sparsely decorated, and some walls and doors could use some new paint, but otherwise is a perfectly fine place with TV, wifi, coffee machine, microwave, toaster, plenty of towels, etc. The host was extremely easy to communicate with and really went out their way to make sure we have everything we need.
