Not a place I’d book again
While we were able to gain access to the building, it took more than 4 hours to get the code to the actual unit. By that time, we had to make other arrangements.

Nice property at reasonable price
The property comes at reasonable price and is well connected with the bus routes. Close to LSU and plenty of stores, gas station and food options near by. The location is okayish. The house is clean and well maintained with fully equipped kitchen. Yes cooking is possible here. Thanks to the manager/ owner for being very responsive and accommodating last minute extension of the stay.

HORRIBLE
The property was nothing like the listing. All the blinds were basically half broken when we got there and when we tried to open them they broke and she made us buy new blinds. It was dirty. The bathroom had someone else’s personal products in there. The washer and dryer were communal with WHOEVER else was in and out of the “building” and reeked of cigarettes. I didn’t even feel like i could cook in this place it was so just nasty. Not to mention there are peeping toms in the neighborhood who look through the windows. When i brought that to her attention she did nothing about it and said she would do nothing about it. This is the worst vrbo listing ive ever stayed at and i would be shocked if i ever used vrbo again

I guess comfy means dirty
This rental is listed as a comfy 1 bedroom. It is in fact a 1 bedroom. It has 2 bed a small kitchen and ok bathroom. It is in a rundown boarded up apartment complex. Look up “Tigerland” to get an idea of what to expect. First impression of walking the was it all smelt like cat pee. The floors were dirty, like couldn’t go without shoes. The fridge was full of old stinky food that had mold on it. Plus side was water pressure and the air worked well.

Don't bother. Owner doesn't communicate. Bad area, dirty clothes on floor, cigarette butts on eating table, dirty dishes in the sink....total crap hole. CHEAP=DUMP
