Parking lot lights and lack of blackout curtains meant room was pretty lit up all night making sleep difficult. The smell of the room on entry each day made it obvious the room was recently a smoking room!!

We had reserved a king bed but when we got into the room it was 2 twin beds. I told the desk that it was wrong and they told me thats all they have. I asked for a refund so I can go to a different hotel. The lady behind the desk rudely said that they wouldnt give me a refund and I would just have to deal with it. We would have been out $175 dollars. I do not recommend this hotel. Dirty, rundown, rude and no elevator.

The initial room that we were given was not ideal at all, quite below average. There was a huge spot on the bathroom door where the paint had peeled off. There were multiple carpet stains on carpet in our initial room. The room smelled really odd and the clothes closet smelled extremely stale. The room in general did not smell pleasant. I requested a different room and the staff was happy to oblige. The breakfast was really good and the staff was very helpful and all around great! The hotel asthetically was just okay. The change of rooms, the friendly staff, and the breakfast made up for the unfortunate smell and asthetics of initial room. I give this stay a 3 star accordingly. However, even in our second room, we ended up with ants and beetles on the floor. I think the entire hotel probably needs maintenence.

Nightmare experience in Bastrop
You booked me for a room that was already booked . I drove 4 hits late in the evening so I could be there and get some rest for an all day business obligations You guys have me confirmation and at the hotel ( which he was very rude ) didn’t care Your company did get me another hotel but took about 2 hours . Didn’t get into the room till around 1 am in the morning I was told by your rep that they spoke with best western and they where gonna to give us early check in for the next day since technically it was past midnight and that the following day was check and I didn’t have to pay anything else . Well I did and I had to before they would let us check in. So that cost me valuable rest time that I really needed for my all day event and also around $160 more dollars for a room night your company told me I didn’t have to pay for

Didint stay! Room wasnt ready at 3pm. Tired from driving and needed sleep was told room would be ready after 4. This was a paid for room from booking so there goes a waist of money.
