Check in was awkward. Remote didn’t work went down to let them know and they offered batteries which did not fix the problem. Plus no soap in shower.

Excellent Stay!
We were in town for the WEC race at Circuit of the Americas and decided that staying in Bastrop was a MUCH better option than Austin. From the moment we drove up to the property and until we left, we were impressed with every aspect of our stay. Professional & friendly staff, clean rooms & property, remarkable breakfast buffet and the list goes on. I remarked to the desk staff upon checking out that come March 2025, we'd be making arrangements to stay there again because of their hospitality and how nice the hotel is. Job Well Done! 👍

The property is certainly older, carpets not so clean, but bedding and towels were fresh. No light over the toilet or shower and the bulb in the sink area was dim and yellow. It looks like the entry/breakfast area has been remodeled nicely. We only stayed one night and slept well with little outdoor noise.

Location for us was important as we were visiting family that lives nearby. Property was clean and bed was comfortable. Only complaint is there wasn't a mini fridge in the room. We travel a lot and it is nice to be able to have fridge in room to keep extra drinks cold, especially during the hot Texas summer.

Health concerns
Hotel is good but the inside pool did not have proper ventilation. Causing our children to have asthma attack. Many other family members to have their allergies also triggered by the strong chlorine and heat in the area. Had to take my daughter to an emergency visit to get treatment. As her rescue inhaler was not sufficient. Spoke with management and no concern was given. So be careful going to the pool if you gave loved ones with health issues you make may reconsider another hotel with proper ventilation or even outside pool.
