It used to be so good
It's gone downhill in the last few years sadly. It's in serious need of new beds and AC units (all noisy and don't work well). The elevator is down, and has been for a bit now.

This hotel is in a great location. So many shops and dining options at your fingertips. The rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable. Staff were warm and friendly. The breakfast was excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely stay again if we're in the area and needing overnight accommodation.

Very deceitful Front Desk Staff one of the worst Motel experiences upon approaching Front Desk after prior Week Reservations for Quiet Room placed for 4th Floor but I was told its all booked so the Desk put me at the 3rd Flr beside the Elevator, so much for Peace and Quiet and Reservations Confirmed via Email but changed by Deceitful Front Desk without Notice, so much for Hospitality no e exinsistant at this Location in Barrie, On. Stay away fom this Motel, Front Desk will lie to you about any Confirmations they send you. Take my Word, this place has no manners and have abrasive Tones far from pleasant simply because of Bias or Ignorance. Skip this Motel go to Travel Lodge is much better and not run down like this unfortunate Motel8 employing very unprofessional staff. Avoid this Super8.
