Vilassar de Dalt is a charming village in the Maresme region of Catalonia, Spain. It is located about 20 kilometres from Barcelona and offers a tranquil escape from the bustling city. You can admire the historical and architectural heritage of the village, such as the Romanesque church of Sant Genís, the Gothic tower of Can Banús, and the modernist house of Can Cabot. If you are a fan of shells, you will love the private museum of Can Miquel, where you can see over 16,000 specimens from around the world. Vilassar de Dalt is also a great place to enjoy the Mediterranean climate, the local cuisine, and the natural surroundings.
The house is in the main village square, where they hold all the local activities, where you might see, Catalan dancing, carnival, chestnuts in November, and loads of different things depending on the season, So you get to see the local people, their habits and customs.

With easy access to Barcelona, by car or direct bus, in just 30 minutes Excellent location, close to all services, supermarkets, restaurants, parks, hiking/bike trails...

This semi-renovated townhouse, parts of which date back to the 16th century, with original stone walls and wood-beamed ceilings.

There is no A/C but it is cool, due to the thick stone walls and no direct sunlight, so not needed.
Ground floor: entered directly from the square, has a sleek, modern kitchen/living room/ separate bedroom. This area has been completely renovated, except for the bedroom which we have preserved in its original state.
Bathroom with shower.
Patio: The small upstairs patio can be accessed from 2 different flights of stairs.
First floor: we have preserved it in its original state, it has not been renovated, there is 1 bedroom with a double bed with views of the town square, and a second room with 2 single beds, also overlooking the square.
Please be aware that to access the patio and upstairs bedrooms there are stairs to climb! So, if you have problems with mobility this house is not ideal for you, the stairs are quite narrow and steep.

Isla Fantasia is just 2.5 K away, you can walk there, and Poma Bike Park is just a cycle away, with lots of hiking trails nearby.
