Booked it as a sister property to casa pince which is across the street. This property has not undergone any renovations yet. No wifi signal in room, felt like a room you would rent by the hour. Terrible chemical smells from cleaning. Mold all through tub grout. Not staff’s fault, just too old. However, Staff is amazing. After Reno this will be a good property. In the meantime, stay at casa pince.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was adequate, something for everyone. Its not very easy for a taxi to get there, but it is in a central area so there is subway close by.

I found the hotel difficult to find. It's off a back street with no clear signage to tell you it's there. The bed was small and a little ruff. However, the staff was very friendly and the hotel is in a great location.

Location IS everything!
What an amazing location! We were 3 minutes from Las Rambla, and Placa Reial was in our backyard with amazing restaurants and entertainment. The rooms are comfortable ( they are typical Euro rooms), not a lot of space but a place to sleep and head out to enjoy the aitea. William at the front desk is amazing. He helped us with getting arpund on the metro his humour was appreciated coming through the lobby. Would 100% recommend and choose this hotel again.

I think the staff were the best feature of this property. Everyone I spoke with was incredibly helpful and kind. Only a 10 minute walk from where the Aerobús drops off, so an easy walk with luggage on arrival/departure days. As a solo female traveler, I never felt unsafe in the neighborhood, and the location is extremely close to at least 20 different dining/drink/entertainment options. The hotel is basic, but I didn’t travel to Europe to sit in the hotel room. I would recommend to anyone to stay here!

Great location, needs updating
Great location off Ferran and almost at the heart of Gothic Quater. Rooms were spacious enough, breakfast was decent and plentiful. Clean enough but needs updating. Most staff were friendly. All in all we were quite happy with this hotel.

On the positive side. the property is fairly close to Las Ramblas and the Liceu metro, has an elevator and provides a good breakfast. It is in an alley just off Calle de Ferran. which has a number of restaurants and is very active at night. On the negative side, our room was fairly small and quite noisy at night from all the activity outside. It did, however, have everything we needed and would be consistent with a 2-3 star, for which the price was on the high side.

IF you go to Barcelona - stay here.
The service and friendliness of this hotel was perfect. The room was small but comfortable and convenient. This hotel does NOT have parking and as of sept 2024, you can’t even get to it by taxi due to road construction so plan to walk a few blocks. On the flip side. The fact that the road is closed creates a wonderful night life for pedestrian diners and shoppers.

Although the property was very clean and staff very friendly and helpful, the beds were very hard and it was difficult to get comfortable. Pillows were a bit too flat as well. The streets around have bars and restaurants that are open very late. Sleep was hard to come by. One night we were still hearing yelling and singing at 4am. Sleep wise was rough. Everything else was very good.

Hotel is hidden on the side street, not easy to find. Windows are not sound proof so experienced drunk people shouting on the street all night. Breakfast is very limited.

A little Gem
This is a great little hotel. Bit tricky to find initially. But it is right in the middle of everything. The staff are excellent, friendly and so very helpful. I recommend this place. The rooms are smaller, but as it's a place to sleep and shower, ya cannot go wrong.

This is a great location. Everything you may need is all around you. Cruise ships very close with a taxi. Would not recommend a walk with baggage. Seems very safe .
